If you’re in Bon Aqua on a Sunday and want a delicious breakfast or a good southern meal any other time! Stop by Beacon Light! We love our little blessing of a local southern cooked meal and hope you do too! My wife and I usually grab to go because our proximity but the food has been great. She loves the steak and I love their fried chicken! And I went ahead and grabbed some pictures of the menu for anyone that needs them since I was having trouble finding them I’m sure others are as well!

We visited the area for my sister’s baby shower and had a party of 9 come on. The Beacon house was amazing and the food delicious. Especially the fresh preserves from the peach truck!

You just can’t find these hidden gems on the local maps, especially if you’re not a local, so I want to help the travelers looking for a fantastic little restaurant that is local favorite and you can tell by the Sunday lunch crowd! Luckily we beat it.

Absolutely love this place. Came from NC and found this luckily on maps. Best food we have ate in a very long time. Just like what your Grandma cooked! Staff is super friendly, building is beautiful and food is hands done some of the best southern cooking we have ever had! Do not pass this place up! 100 ⭐️ ❤️

We found this quaint little restaurant away from the busy city. The employees are so friendly and welcoming and go above and beyond to meet your needs. The food is great and the portions are huge! It is similar to Cracker Barrel and the Lovelace Cafe. The biscuits are SO good (as good or better than Lovelace). You definitely get your money’s worth. We thought the food is better than Cracker Barrel and definitely more affordable because the portions are so large. Plus you don’t have the wait that you encounter at Cracker Barrel. We highly recommend it!

Country ham is unbelievably salty, pork tenderloin was barely cooked with no seasoning what so ever. Gravy is instant out of a packet and like plaster. Kinda taste like flour pudding. Grits are instant and tasted like hot water was used out of the tea maker. It tasted just like tea. Service was spectacular but the food was just not good. Sad because it use to be the best around.

We saw a story about Beacon Light Tea Room on Tennessee Crossroads and had to try it. Everything was even better than expected – perfect fried chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans with awesome gravy, plus country ham and eggs with red eye gravy. The tiny, and delicious, biscuits with homemade preserves are also the perfect intro. What’s not to love??

Beacon Light is truly a foundation stone of original Nashville and Tennessee. It is still run by the same family. My grandparents ate here often. The Beacon Light outshines Loveless Cafe in their ham and biscuits as well as their fried chicken. It’s well worth the extra 20 – 30 minute drive west past Loveless to eat here. Our waitress has worked there for 20 years. If you want to feel like you are valued, If you want to feel like you are eating with family at your Mom’s home, then you need to eat here. This is not a tourist stop. This is local people, serving local people, and doing it with excellence and love, they enjoy what they are doing. They are doing this for a “Higher Reason and are answering a Higher calling.”
