Stopped in for a light lunch. Food was great, our waitress was great but she was all by herself and had a lot of tables…I had the beet salad and a hot tea. A little pricey but worth the splurge if you want something a bit fancier/healthy but don’t want to leave campus.

The best wings I have ever had. They were whole wings and were grilled, not deep-fried. We also had crab stuffed walleye with a mushroom risotto. Our server, Megan, was attentive and very kind and cheerful.

I don’t actually know if the food is any good here. We had a reservation, the lady at the desk was quite rude I could hear her being rude to the people in front of us and she says to us there’s a big wait time after these people, I said oh we made a reservation and she walked away. Another employee joined her and he had to tell her twice to “stop” for being rude she told the people in front of us they should have made a reservation. Anyway the man asked us if we were being helped(he was very nice and I could see he was very busy) I said we’re a reservation and he said table will be a while but he could sit us at a high top. I said that’s fine. He sat us and told us a waiter would be over to us. We sat for 25 mins and no one came near us so we left! While we sat I seen a young man come in and go to the bar, the bartender stayed at the other end chatting then walked by him multiple times and not even acknowledge him so he walked out. It’s really the worst service I’ve ever seen. The employee you seated us was very nice but I would not go back here.

Nice place, good TV setup for watching sports, and good food that’s a cut above a typical hotel bar. The downside is I’ve been going there for years now and it’s been chronically understaffed the entire time. The staff does their best but service is slow regardless bc they just don’t have enough people. If you’re going before a Gophers game make sure to get there with plenty of time to spare.

Immediately upon checking in we were told we had to leave within an hour and a half because the table was reserved for another party then. We then waited 30 minutes for our drinks. After receiving our food from a different waitress our original waitress never checked on us until we flagged her down to get our checks. They also had a tv on that was showing cleft pallet surgeries the entire time we were there. Strange choice for a restaurant. I hate leaving bad reviews but this was a really terrible experience. The one good thing I will say is that they have good fries ♀️
