First of I didn’t think you could smoke in a restaurant any more the building smelled like smoke and mold ( people were smokin inside) That said the pork was very bland no flavor , no sauce no coleslaw nothing. The brisket was flavorless and dry . The French fries were hot at least very expensive for what you get a sandwich fries and bottle drink for $13

One of the best hole in the wall places we have eaten at. We had the chicken wings, ribs, and barbecue all of it amazing their seasoned fries were delicious. Our kids had burgers and went on and on of how good they were. The cook was experimenting with some new flavoring on the chili and brought out samples for everyone and it was great also. Everyone was very friendly my girls colored their pictures and got to tape them on the ceiling. Will be going back!!!!!

Great BBQ!, They have a nice dining room. Behind a partition there is also a nice lounge with karaoke, 2 pool tables, and a full bar! This place is unique and well known to all the locals and nationally alike!

Best pulled pork sandwich I’ve had in years. The meat was tender and juicy. Granny even ate hers with no teeth. I love that they toasted the buns. The BBQ sauce was so good. Everything was hot when we picked it up and the young lady that handle my order was very nice and bubbly

DELICIOUS FOOD; but RESTAURANT SMELLS LIKE CIGARETTE SMOKE.

Well this little jewel is located on hwy 231 just a few miles north of Troy Al. While it’s acclaimed to be world renowned it IS good food, however it’s still small and a little dated. The bbq pork is good with lots of smoke and good flavor but just a touch dry. The new Alabama white sauce they have is kind of like a horsey sauce without the bite (not too bad). The red bbq table sauce tastes like regular bbq sauce (no complaints). The sandwiches are a little smaller than you might expect but taste and smokey flavor is not lacking.

Great ribs but too salty.

Wow, just as their sign says, they are really the best BBQ. Had the Pulled Pork Sandwich with slaw. Pork had a “great”, uniquely smoked flavor. It was absolutely delicious. The BBQ House will be a (the) favorite spot to stop.

I’m from Ohio and was in Alabama this past weekend and myself and family members visited this establishment. The food was wonderful the service was good only disappointing Factor was that I got a rib combo which the chicken was wonderful the pulled pork was wonderful but I only got one rib bone on a combo and paid $3 for an extra one which was very small also. The waitress said they sell them by the ounce which I guess 4 oz or something but I was very happy with my food and the service but I just thought you should get at least two to three bones on a combo that’s my only complaint. I hope and pray on my next visit that I will stop back in again. Our waitress she was great very pleasant and very helpful and I tried a family members catfish and that also was fabulous I should have ordered some of that too LOL. Thank you barbecue house for such a great time.
