My experience at the Bayou restaurant! The meal was nothing short of fantastic, as it always has been for years . We started off with the jalapeño poppers wow those spicy treats are not to be missed. The meatloaf, in particular is my favorite with its incredible taste. My wife’s choice of the Marinated skirt steak salad was equally delightful.

We enjoyed it, went on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn’t so crowded. Street parking was hard to come by. Server was nice but food did take a rather long time it felt like. I ordered the blackened chicken Po boy and it tasted great. I also shared the customized Mac and cheese with broccoli and jalapenos which was pretty tasty as well. Overall, I would recommend and would definitely go back

Fantastic food, service and restaurant. We went here on a recommendation and wow! I got the chicken fried steak and it came with eggs, Cajun home fries and the best paired fruit ever. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning!

Seasoned, flavorful, and my mouth is watering again. The food was so good I forgot to take photos. I had the frog legs, crawfish empanadas, fried pickles, the jambalaya, and swamp cocktail.

I’ve been dining here for many years. I have always enjoyed the food with my family and friends. The service is always on point. Nice people home town vibe live music on the weekends. I travel from Long Island specifically just to eat here and travel right back that’s how we feel about the food, drinks, service, and all around hospitality. This time we went for Sunday brunch and it didn’t disappoint. I’ll post some photos. We ordered chicken and waffles, chocolate chip pancakes, Buffalo wings, voodoo wings corn bread, collard greens, and of course the pot of mudbugs ( crayfish) enjoy. I know we did

Came here for dinner on a Sunday evening. Food was good and portions were generous. I especially appreciated the vegetarian options considering that Cajun cuisine is not usually veg-friendly. The vibe is laid back and relaxed – live music here would be great. I’d stop here again if I were in the area.

First time at Bayou in 2 years and they are still outstanding. Great service and fresh Mud Bugs (crawfish) ! Forgot name of my favorite cocktail (spicy coconut something) but it tasted delicious and paired perfectly with my southern fried chicken and gravy. Whatever their salad dressing is, it taste like day one from 2007. The atmosphere is Nola proper. I have too many memories here to not return. Happy they haven’t dropped the ball on food and service ! Really hope the live music returns soon. This place is a favorite.

I have been going here for 25 years. Food is consistently good. Large portions of great tasting Creole inspired dishes. Voodoo wings are my favorite appetizer. Po boys are great. Daily specials as well as weekly specials and happy hour are available. Great beer selection and friendly staff. Check their calendar for live bands.
