Not exactly a 5-star kind of place. However, the burgers were delicious and cooked to medium rare, as requested, and a perfect char applied to both sides! The Jamaican burger is excellent!! My wife and I will definitely be back for more when we are in Crawfordsville again.

we got the NADA Burger which is a Hoosier tenderloin. that was the thickest tenderloin we’ve ever had very juicy. it needed to be trimmed as we had two bits of gristle but the rest of the loin was as good as a tenderloin gets. actually it’s better not sure we’ve had a tenderloin this good and we’ve had over 80 in Indiana. they forced us to try the queso dip with the french fries. this is because it’s so good it’s addictive and we’re already thinking about when we can have it again. an extra bonus is that they don’t use styrofoam we can recycle the container that the queso came in and the rest is compostable.

The one item that stood out and was really good was the Nacho Crab Dip w/ Chips. Didn’t look like much but tasted great. We had burgers which were good but nothing outstanding.

Burger and dessert was good. Fish was in balls and weird very fishing. Chicken was well over cooked. They didn’t have onion rings on a Saturday night.

Ordered fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and didn’t have shrimp and then went for chicken and it was dried out. The orders were in for awhile and then the waitress came back and said didn’t have the pork tenderloin and husband ordered fish and chips and he said he didn’t like the taste of the fish and even the water tasted bad.

Mixed thoughts. Read both reviews. I had the bison burger. The burger was nasty. I’m guessing it was a frozen patty. No seasonings. So it had that frying pan taste where the juices are still on it. But they were looking for a cook or they were new. The staff was great. So I’ll try it again just to see if anything has changed.

The food is really great here, except the fries, they’re always burnt. The atmosphere is so-so, not super comfy, just hard chairs and tables, no comfy booths or anything. You walk in and there is a sign that says to wait to be seated but then the server comes up and makes you awkwardly seat yourselves. It’s not super kid friendly just because it takes forever to get your food. We’ve been here a few times and it’s taken a long time every time, not even being busy in the restaurant. Somewhat friendly place but service is extremely slow, even with their excuses and apologies, which I appreciate, but it’s still slow. Their apologies don’t make it any faster, lol.
