The Ballering is a quaint dinner restaurant right in the heart of Kewaunee in the lower level of a historic three story brick building erected in the late 1800’s. We offer a very wide variety of food from a simple burger or pulled pork sandwich, to Ribs, Steaks, Fish and Jambalaya. We are a full service bar as well, with freshly muddled old fashions, excellent martinis and other craft drinks in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We serve wonderful house made desserts and espresso for a nice after dinner treat.

This has been the second time we’ve been there for dinner and it’s been fantastic again! They do not disappoint! Old Fashioned drinks are delicious! The entrees are delicious and the appearance is very fancy! I had the blackened salmon with rice pilaf and the ham potato soup. My husband had the pork belly and smoked sausage with mashed potatoes. Our server was very friendly and efficient! Highly recommend going there!

A surprising gem in the little city of Kewaunee! Was there for the first time for romantic date night birthday celebration dinner and it was SO good! Great experience, great atmosphere, lighting, great service and great food! Everything was fresh and flavorful! And finished the evening with delicious turtle cheesecake for dessert!
