Cute little store that looks like an old post office or convenient store. Not crowded when we arrived. The food was comparable to Bair, and the place not as crowded probably because Bair has a view. Today’s view was not good with all the forest burning smoke.

What an amazing find on a Sunday morning after walking nearby at Chambers Bay. Absolutely loved the charm of this place the moment I walked into the restaurant. The vintage vibe and smell of wonderful food, combined with friendly faces was a great start. We were seated fairly quickly and impressed to see that most food is made fresh and in house from scratch. The food did not disappoint at all! The corned beef, one of my favorites to order when eating out was real, not no canned greasy mess. Tip, add the country sausage gravy to it, best I’ve ever had! The monte Cristo was huge and perfect with the house made raspberry jam. Topped off with large mimosas we left pleasantly full. A for sure don’t miss in a quaint beautiful town on the water.

Great ingredients in a nostalgic (early 1900s) vibe. I’m very grateful for their healthy vegetable breakfast dish! Hard to find for most breakfast places! Incredible service from Ginger too!

I love the Bair. We’ve had breakfast here a handful of times-it’s always great! Recently i hosted a baby shower at the Bair and it was perfect. It’s such a cute spot, great space and decor and the owner Sara is so great to work with. This place truly is a gem and i highly recommend stopping in to eat when in Steilacoom or hosting a special event here.

After a long morning of garage sales, stopped by and the food was amazing. Had the Turkey berry sandwich and a strawberry rhubarb scone. The hosts were attentive and very nice. The chef made our meal very enjoyable. Keep you the good work and smiles. Kindness is free

Such a fun spot with lots of history. The food is always delicious and very fresh. I would recommend the biscuits and gravy and the corned beef hash. Their potatoes are some of the best i’ve had.

Wonderful old drug and hardware store turned restaurant with awesome food and drinks. The store maintains its old drug store look and feel with cabinets full of old medicines and the rest of the restaurant is decorated with cool antiques and old pictures. Located downtown Steilacoom with lots of other cool places to check out within walking distance.

This is a tough one to write. I hope they get more help in the kitchen because we arrived on Saturday around 11am and waited nearly an hour if not at least 45 min for our food. They kept us informed about the delay, comp our drinks, but I had never waited that long for food… luckily the shop itself is kind of interesting to explore, or we took walks outside for the water view. (Multiple walks…and the food was still not ready). If you do not have any plans and can handle the possibility of long wait time, this is a lovely restaurant/living museum.

This place has so much wasted potential. Great atmosphere and good food, but they are chronically understaffed. Staff that is there are usually overwhelmed, slow, and not very friendly. Walked in at 10:30 on a Friday and was told to wait 25 minutes. I have given this place numerous shots.

This place is the picture of charm! The vintage setting is fantastic and sets the tone for this space. It really brings you back in time. There is so much history right in this one building. There service was great and the food was prepared quickly. I got my usual biscuits and gravy and my wife got the corned beef hash. So good!
