Cute little place with a great happy hour across its antipasti selection. The meatballs were devine! Really enjoyed the buratta too.

Cute little place. Came for dinner on a Sunday evening. Even without the reservation, we were able to find a spot for 4. It was busy. The pizza was very good and so was the burrata we ordered. Also ordered hazelnut chocolate budino and was very good.

Pizza was fantastic! The server explained to us that nearly everything they cook is within the wood fired oven.

We came here for dinner on New Years Eve and had a wonderful time. The setting was very intimate and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We ordered meat balls and pepperoni pizza and they were both delicious. Definitely recommend trying Backspace!

So disappointed to learn this place has lost all of it’s charm. I brought my family here promising them that they were about to have the BEST Neapolitan pizza in Austin (because that’s how I remembered it from 5ish years ago). The interior was totally run down, and not in a charming way, the food took forever (there were two other tables in the restaurant) and when we did finally get it, the crust was burned (not in the typical neo style, but just burnt) on all of our pizzas. I left apologizing to my family and dropping over $100 for us to have bad pizza.

This was so disappointing, I’ve never given a bad review before because I’ve worked in restaurants all my life. However, i tried 5 items off the menu and all of them were really gross. Really bad flavor when there was any flavor at all. No one at our table could finish their meals.

Better than expected coming from NY w high expectations usually outside the norm for all pizza. Brick oven with very good dough/crust, cheese and sauce. Very Naples like and holds up. If I were to change a thing, it would be a slightly broader selection but I get that they need to market to Austin out of town convention and keeping it simple makes sense. Wine selection was solid and music was great. Liked the place a lot!

This is a great little bar and restaurant. Small, but they serve good pizza, and have a wonderful staff and atmosphere. Not too expensive especially given your in a large city downtown area, right next to 6th. You’ll need reservations for a table but not for the bar.

I have an egg allergy and the Neapolitan style was perfect for me. It was sooo soft and amazing! We had excellent service and when we visit Austin I will definitely come back! A new favorite spot!
