My tastebuds and I love The Autumn Cafe. It’s local and conveniently located right in the heart of downtown Oneonta. I can not speak to their lunch or dinner menu. However, their brunch menu is always a hit! With fresh, new tasty brunch specials and yummy breakfast drinks, no wonder you have to RSVP. The servers are also pretty awesome. I will be returning again and again!

Absolutely amazing experience! The first thing we were asked was if either of us have dietary restrictions and I have celiac disease so I let the server know. He was so knowledgeable about what I could and couldn’t have and I haven’t had such a good meal without being cross containmenated in SO long that this was such a treat for me. The salmon was out of this world. I highly recommend!!

Great local restaurant with a fantastic menu. Great variety for everyone, including vegan, gluten free, and other dietary needs. Highly recommend the chicken tacos, vegan curry, and nachos. The beer menu is extensive, with about ten draft beers rotating. The service is attentive and super friendly. This is a total gem.

All as expected, you won’t be disappointed unless you were really hoping to eat at home in the first place – which I think was true for my guest. And that was more about my guest not liking public places than anything the Cafe could do. I had hoped for a quieter, cozier, less crowded Tuesday night, but one can hardly blame a place for being popular!

We both got the tofu scramble, the only vegan option available. It tasted strongly of horseradish even though that was not listed as one of the ingredients and it was soggy. Even though we told them we were vegan I’m pretty sure the toast was buttered and the butter smelled off. The potatoes and my mimosa were good but 2/3 of the dish was borderline in edible.
