I had called to place an order for takeout on a Friday night during the dinner rush. I had to wait on hold for upwards of ten minutes, but I know how busy restaurants can get. I stayed patient, and it helped that the woman on the phone was very sweet. I knew she wouldn’t forget about me.

I didn’t realize there was another Mexican restaurant in the area. My daughter found it because our favorite downtown one was closed. The server was fantastic, and the food was hot and so comforting. Even liked the chips and salsa. There’s parking in front and along the side. It’s a bit cramped inside but I expect they’ll have seating out on the patio in the warmer months. The have beautiful, colorful murals of traditional scenes on the walls. They have a children’s menu and my grandson liked his cheeseburger.
