My friend and I went for a late lunch, and it was a great experience, and our waitress, Pamela, was fantastic. We started out with the jalapeño pimento cheese beignets. I really enjoyed them elegiac the brown mustard with it; my friend didn’t love the tomato topping much, though. Then I decided I wanted to try the sausage gravy with biscuit chips. I really enjoyed this appetizer; it was unique and delicious. I had shrimp tacos for lunch, and she had the wings. The tacos were a little bit too spicy, for me, but my husband said they must have been prepared a little differently. He said his weren’t nearly that spicy. Either way, they were delicious, but I would try something else next time. Great place. Can’t wait to try out some more of the food.

6 STARS! Okay, this is one of very few times that I wish I could provide a higher rating. Today was my first time at The Anthony, and it was fantastic. I truly loved the food. I had shrimp tacos with sweet potato fries. Heavenly. Everyone else loved their lunches as well! Service was quick and polite. Also, it was taco Tuesday, so tacos were half price! Best, most affordable meal I’ve had in a long time.

This is a great place for family night or events. They offer daily lunch specials, drink specials and my favorite- taco Tuesday. The last time I visited The Anthony I could not decide what I wanted so I got a combination of things: salad, wings, and a pizza. I was pleased with all of it. I also purchased a flight and it was very tasty.

A fantastic building to just look at. It’s a classic when it comes to architecture. The inside is so grand. So many weddings are done here. A great place for a ball. The BB stands for B’nai B’rith Literary Association building . A restaurant called the Anthony is suppose to be in the building but I haven’t seen any activity so far. If it was open I would have loved to try it.

This is a beautiful venue for weddings. We attended one as a vendor and were blown away by the historic beauty found in the building on all levels. With the natural light pouring in to the rooftop views, what more could you ask for. The decorating team only has to highlight the place with florals and candles and it’s ready to go. As a videographer, it’s a dream building to film in.

A true five star experience from start to finish. Beautiful location with incredible golf course views throughout. Exceptional service with very friendly and knowledgeable wait staff. Great menu offerings with options for everyone. We had the salmon, pork shoulder and grits, a burger, and chicken Alfredo. Everything was cooked perfectly and everyone loved their meal. Great flavors and the best fries in the south! This will be our go-to restaurant when traveling through the area. We are already looking forward to our next meal.

Came here during a work trip. Was definitely expecting more with regard to atmosphere, food presentation, and decor since this is a country club restaurant. I ordered the fried green tomatoes and the magic dust wings. The tomatoes were bland, but edible. The wings were really good. The magic dust dry rub is really flavorful. Service was great, nice view of the golf course.

Very uncomfortable chairs. Atmosphere is not what I expected for a country club, especially with their prices. Steaks and shrimp were overcooked, desserts weren’t very good. Only good thing about our experience was the waiter. He was very friendly and attentive. He’s the reason for this being a 2 star instead of a 1 star review.

Atmosphere is good. Service is good. Food is good for Vicksburg. I had the chicken and biscuit last time. The gravy was good but the chicken was bland. This time I had the chicken parmigiana. Very cheesy, and lots of pasta. I would’ve gotten a small side salad but it was$5.00 more, not worth it. My husband thought it was lack-luster also.
