I don’t do reviews unless I really mean it, and don’t judge a book by it’d cover. Odd spot (maybe in your mind), attached to a motel, but the Mexican food has amazing flavor. Together we tried 6 tacos and couldn’t decide on what was best!!! Try this place please, and be sure to get the rice and beans!

This place was not busy only one table. Got the food to go since we had a lo today of travel. My cheese enchiladas were cold and the cheese was not even melted. The beef enchiladas were slightly warmer then the cheese but no where near hot. The best part of the meal was the soft drinks it was the only items we were able to finish. Would not recommend and will not try again.

What a fun night spent here! We arrived on a Saturday night around 8pm. The dining room was full of older folks dressed to the nine!! A live band was setting up and the place was hopping. Seriously, those older folks were moving and shaking…and flirting! But enough about ambiance.

OMG, l haven’t had such an odd experience for the last 10 years I have been living in the States. Just walked out of this place a minute ago, because of RACISM. My family is on short vacation in San Diego and we’re living to the motel this restaurant attached to. We walked in for dinner and the welcoming waiter guided us to our seats. He started giving ustensiles and handing out menus when a lady grabbed his arm as a sign to stop, and told us they had a waiting list, and we should live. Which was surprising because there were many empty tables. Almost half of the restaurant was empty. I guess she was not comfortable receiving a Black family. I am grateful she let us go and didn’t poison us.

LET ME JUST SAY THIS… This is by far the best Spanish Food i have eaten so far. Im from the Inland Empire and i like to come to San Diego every now and then to vacation and try new food spots and I’m glad i found this place. The service is great and my waiter made me feel comfortable, I appreciate your professionalism senior i really do. Some Spanish places i go to they’re sometimes rude and the food is half cooked but not this place. If you’ve been to SD and haven’t eaten here you need to ASAP. I will definitely be returning on my next trip. THANK YOU !!
