Food is always good, inside and outside seating, friendly staff. Can get pretty loud on the weekend when they have a live band. My favorite thing about coming here is the fresh potato wedges and homemade ranch dressing.

After a day of fishing, we stopped in for dinner before heading home. It was kinda busy when we arrived so we sat ourselves. A few minutes later a server arrived, gave us all menus and proceeded to whisper the specials to us, I say whisper because out of the 3 of us, I was the only one who could hear her and that’s because she was standing behind me. Anyway we all ordered, I ordered spicy bbq wings, the hubby ordered a burger and our son ordered medium wings with ranch and bbq sauce on the side and a basket of onion rings.

We had bacon burgers. The bacon was half cooked. The burgers are pre-made patties and tough to chew and had a fake charcoal taste. They only offered lettuce and tomato, no mustard, ketchup or mayo…no onion. We ate there one other time about 10 years ago. It was awful then. We hoped they had improved over the years.

GUYS!!! This place is a MUST try! The BEST prime rib I have had in a long time! Even better than the ones I just had visiting Vegas! I was a little skeptical at first, at from the outside it just looks like an old country bar, which I wouldn’t mind either, but not where you would expect to find first class food. The drinks were great, they have something for everyone. Pop,water, beer, wine, liquor. There are tables to sit at as a family, a classic bar top, and even a nice patio. The people next to us got crab legs and they looked picture perfect. I even thing the prices are fair. 2 prime rib dinners, appetizers, 2 beers, a fee shots of fire ball and 1 mixed drink was only $68. On top of everything else, the service was fantastic!!!

Well done! We live in Euclid, i grew up in Madison and have seen this come over my fb feed. Decided to do a date night with my husband somewhere new. The most unlikely spots are usually the best! This was just that. Who’d of known this hole in the ground bar would be so fun!?! Adults our age range and above, Great service,.friendly, live band, dancing and singing along and Good food… Prices were reasonable. It was a nice change of pace! Very loud, could take it down a few notches with small space and live music but it wasn’t a make or break deal. Well done staff at 528 Tavern!
