Nothing Epic about the burritos here. I had a breakfast burrito one time and it was okay but recently I had a steak burrito and it was terrible. Everything they put on the burrito must have been sitting all day cause it was so dry I didn’t end up finishing it. I had to stop somewhere else on the way home and get more food. I should have known better when I saw a couple of kids that looked 16 working behind the counter and making the food. This is not the place for burritos.

I heard a lot of buzz about the breakfast burrito here so I had to come and see for myself. It’s rare that the hype was real and this is one of those instances. Located in a mini mart, epic burrito had a simple menu. I was recommended the Asada breakfast burrito with all the trimmings. It went above and beyond expectations. Granted, it wasn’t a traditional breakfast burrito but the flavors exploded with each bite. I would come again for the other one.

The epic burrito shop was unfortunately very mediocre. The main thing holding this back from being delicious was the rice, it was overcooked and chewy in all 3 versions of burrito we ordered. That includes the one we ordered no rice to come with.The marinaded meat was inoffensive. It was just a very mediocre experience all around at best, I wish I had ordered Casteñadas instead.
