I ordered the Fish and Chips. The batter of the fish was excellent, lightly coated. The fish was so moist and tender inside and so flaky. It was so delicious, I enjoyed it tremendously. The fries were great not soggy, lightly crispy, just the way, I love them, whenever having fries…. I had stopped at Thames Landing Oyster House in New London CT for dinner, as I was enroute to Moynihan Train Hall, New York City via Amtrak Train. I totally enjoyed my dinner that evening, whenever I am in New London CT, will definitely return there for lunch or dinner.

We stopped here for lunch and enjoyed it! The shrimp taco is fresh and very good. The hamburger is fresh and not frozen, a tasty crispness on the outside. Cheese, big pickle slice and fries. The waitress was very friendly and courteous. We will be back!

Great food and atmosphere with beautiful views of the water, ships and the train station. Def recommend any of the margaritas. The seafood tacos were amazing. Salmon, shrimp and cod, served on a bed of cabbage and drizzled with a creamy aioli. The mussels were fresh and flavorful in a semi spicy almost arrabiata sauce. The shrimp scampi was also delicious

An excellent escape from average. They did not hold back on the portion sizes. I had shrimp scampi and the taste was perfect. They have two separate areas to eat. One is more like a pub and the other side is calmly rustic with brick walls and windows where you can sit and watch the trains arrive and depart.

Made a pit stop here on our way home…it was our first time and their menu looked pretty good-nothing fancy. Hubby and I have dietary restrictions and it was pretty easy to swap things out. They were very accommodating! Flavor was definitely there and so was presentation. I wished my Pinot Grigio was chilled, but hubby’s Chardonnay was. Restaurant was pretty clean, but would have liked the surrounding tables to be set for seating after having been wiped down…seemed like there wasn’t a lot of staff on hand, but it also was a quite Sunday night!

Seriously, it was a beautiful day spent with beautiful family, and everything about this quaint little place was pleasing to me. It was not busy when we went. The service was excellent, many thanks to the waitress, and the food was ridiculously good. I think I ate most of it in shock, pleasant, happy, satisfied shock, but the freshness and flavor were amazing. Many props to the chef. And of course, thanks fam for a wonderful day.

Definitely a hidden gem in New London. Our server Julia was a sweetheart! I’m usually hesitant to order shrimp scampi at restaurants because my dads homemade recipe has put everyone else’s to shame and usually shrimp scampi ends up being shrimp skimpy, HOWEVER, this was not the case this time. I will be back again for this delicious dish that was seasoned perfectly. Portions are super generous and prices are great.

Atmosphere was great, food was fantastic and our server Matt was awesome! Started out with the calamari and was tempted to order another. Wife had the clam strip dinner which was delicious and my fish n’ chips was even better! Then ended it all with a red velvet cake. We will definitely be returning to sample the rest of their menu!
