Have been wanting to try Thai Nakorn for a while now and when my dad came into town and wanted to try Thai for the first time, it seemed like the perfect opportunity. The food did not disappoint, we started with chicken satay then got three dishes for my dad to try. Pad Kee Moa (drunken noodles) has always been my absolute favorite so of course we got that. Also had to get the dish that started my Thai journey, Kaeng Phed Ped Yang (roasted duck in curry sauce) – was fabulous with amazing flavor. Then got roasted duck fried rice. Everything was delicious and can’t wait to go back.

Spacious seating. Vegetable soup was delicious. Pineapple fried rice was tasty. Baby chicken was just ok, nothing special.

I’ve basically ignored this place because the exterior does not seem welcoming, but was I so wrong.

As a tourist from Europe I was not feeling very welcome by the extremely chaotic service. Price wise the portions are extremely small considering the high price. The pad thai is not authentic and didn’t come we the usual condiments. Furthermore – maybe most important – not the most hygienic restaurant at first clance. I will not return and was quite surprised that is was busy in the restaurant.

I was pleasantly surprised with how great the food was. I love Thai food and struggle to find places that offer enough flavor in their dishes. This is not the case here, and I’m glad that they add some spice in their curries as well (not too hot though). The service was prompt, portions just the right size and the restaurant was clean. If you are in the area I would recommend you try it. The prices are great too

For $16 for a fried rice I would expect bigger portions and fresh rice at the very least , I thought ordering close to open time would guarantee freshness but I’m better off asking when a fresh batch of rice is available at this point I like the flavor but I can taste rice when it isn’t fresh or possibly made hours before it’s slightly crunchier and just not as fresh the veggies also aren’t sautéed fresh possibly previously frozen not the same cashier I’m used to either I just wanted to try this place one last time before giving up but at this point don’t waste your money on the fried rice or ask for fresh rice which should be a given for the prices they charge

Absolutely fantastic customer service at this wonderful family-owned restaurant. And the food was also quite tasty. We tried a few dishes like the pad thai, beef and eggplant, mushroom soup and catfish salad, all of which was good.

Felt unwelcome from the moment food was served… food was ok but the service is the worst I’ve had in America, atrocious. Please avoid if you’re looking to have a relaxing meal with good service!!

The best panang curry that I’ve ever had! I was pleasantly surprised when I stumbled upon this place in San Bruno. I also ordered some Tom Yum soup which was good but could have used a bit more chicken. If you’re in the area, please stop by this place! Didn’t seem too busy when I stopped by but I’m sure it gets packed around dinner time.
