This used to be a good place. We were there on a Sunday and were the only couple there.. The server was new, and totally inexperienced. We ordered appetizers, soup, and a main course. The main course came first! When we complained, the server said, this is how they normally do it. Not so, having been there vefore. The shrimp rolls had NO shrimp in them The curry was greasy and bland. The restrooms were filthy. I can see why the restaurant was empty. I understand they are moving. I can only say, I will never go back to this place.

We tried to dine at this restaurant on Saturday night. The hours were listed until 9:30 PM – we arrived at 8:30 PM and were hesitantly seated – there was no one else in the restaurant. We asked if we had arrived too late for dinner, and received a very mixed message. We promptly ordered Fried spring rolls as an appetizer – when they arrived they were still cold/frozen on the inside. We let the waitress know they were cold and she took them away; we waited at the table for over 20 minutes – no one ever came back… we concluded they did not want us there – so we got up and left.

My wife and I were traveling cross country and stopped in Santa Fe for the night. She is Thai and craving Thai food, so after a search it appeared our only two choices were Thai Vegan and Thai Cafe. Neither of us care for vegan, so we went with this place. The atmosphere is nice, but we were surprised when we didn’t see any Thai-looking employees. My wife asked our waitress if she spoke Thai, she said no. We then asked if anyone in the back spoke Thai because my wife always likes chatting with people from her home country. The waitress again said no. We then asked if there were ANY Thai people who worked there, she hesitated and gave a less than reassuring “some”. My Pad See Eww and her Pad Gaw Pow were fairly generic and you could tell it was cooked by someone who is not Thai. Is Fake Thai better than no Thai? We don’t know, but we are glad we don’t live in Santa Fe if this would be one of our only Thai options.

The best Thai food in Santa Fe. The staff is always really nice and I like the atmosphere and the prices.

I rarely get hot food, especially Thai, but they were able to deliver. I ordered Thai hot and every bite was flavourful and hot. Ask for the chili heat scale to choose the right heat. More veggie variety would be good…I mostly had broccoli.

Abysmal customer service. We walked on a Friday. Stood around for 5-10 minutes not sure if we could sit down or if we could be seated while waitress took order for large table. Finally we asked a departing customer what the seating policy was …. they told us, they had just sat themselves … then told us “Good Luck”. After sitting for 10 minutes, the waitress comes over and explains to us that the manager had left her all alone and that she was trying to do everything on her own …. by the way, no beer or alcohol can be served since she was underage. There were 10 people or so in the place all with really unhappy expressions on their faces and and no one had been served anything. We left. This is a classic tourist trap that can only survive in the tourist areas of Santa Fe. Do yourself a favor and avoid it ….

Awful restuarant. I patiently explained to the server twice that I cannot eat highly seasoned, hot food and that is exactly what they brought me. I took one bite and I felt like I had swallowed a burning ember. I sent the meal back to the kitchen and wisely refused to order another thing. My girlfriend who sometimes enjoys hot seasoned food had to send her soup back to the kitchen for the same reason. When her entreee arrived it was cold. I also had to tell the server to wipe food debris the table even though it was already set up with napkins and silverware. Unless you have a cast iron stomach and don’t mind sloppy and inattentive service I would avoid this place like the plague!

When we arrived, we were immediately greeted and sat down. The restaurant was not busy and we assumed our drink order would be taken quickly but it took the host, who was obviously the only one there, 10 minutes to come back to our table. When she did, she asked were we ready to order. No “what can I get you to drink.” We ordered our drinks and main course, and for the next 10 minutes we watched this person that calls themselves a waiter bring out food to several tables, and also, get this, a glass of water to a person that walked in and sat themselves at a table. We had enough and simply walked out. It’s unbelievable the incompetence that is inescapable when one talks about the work force in this state. Just totally turned us off to eating out and we will never return to this worthless place and suggest you never eat there or you’ll suffer the same Cognative Dissonance we did. STAY AWAY!

Super nice staff and delicious food! Definitely the best Thai food I’ve had so far! The chef is from Thailand, so it’s very authentic. Great portion sizes too.

Great flavor & cozy atmosphere. Personally I think the portions are small for the price. I had to leave to rush back to work right after I ordered….when I get back my $15 meal fit in one of those small to-go boxes. After tipping I paid $18 for a sorry ass to-go box. Sheesh…
