I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect after reading mixed reviews, and arriving an hour before closing with not one single customer in the restaurant, but I have to say the food was delicious!!! We learned they do a lot of take-out orders and 4 people came in to pick up theirs while we were there. Our waitress was very friendly, helpful, and gave great suggestions. We had the sampler appetizer and their sauces are homemade and delicious. We got peanut sauce, soy sauce, and sweet and sour sauce with the appetizer platter. Their spring rolls are phenomenal, and the sweet and sour chicken was the best I’ve ever had!! My daughter had the sesame chicken with jasmine rice and thought it was delicious! We’ll be leaving the area tomorrow to return home but I wish I could stay longer just to eat here again! Thank you for the delicious meal!!!!

Service was quick and pleasant. We had drunken noodles with chicken and selected the hot spice level. I like spicy food and it was indeed spicy and served hot with a very plentiful portion. A very good meal.

First time visiting Thai Cafe. My husband and I really enjoy Thai cuisine and we were hoping it would be good. Our dinner choices were spot on, and I had so much red curry with chicken and Jasmine rice I ate it two more times. The fresh summer rolls with shrimp were delicious. The atmosphere with low lighting and spacious seating was comfortable. The servers were very accommodating and helpful with recommendations. I only wish they were open for lunch!

Lost my business due to no reasoning for a special needs individual frankly anybody who was allergic to items not mentioned on the menu . We did send the plate back with out eating it and ordered another order that was satisfactory. However we were charged for both after being long , faithful customer with out customer service reasoning . A tip was given due to other food served well and fair service …(4 people served)

As much as I love Thai food , this place is hit or miss. food, service varies form month to month and its a shame because it could be one of the best places to eat in mount airy!!! If it would just stay consistently staffed with regular hours.

If you’re like me and enjoy Thai restaurants, and you’re anywhere near Mount Airy, NC, then you should definitely visit “Thai Cafe”. The menu actually has an intriguing Lao theme. Good and reasonably priced Lunch Specials; all with a delicious rice soup. Happy to see Singha Export beer, too.
