Tha BBQ Pit is a hidden gem worth seeking out. We had driven by many times and finally decided to check it out. Venturing inside, we found ample clean indoor seating that wasn’t easily visible from the street. The staff warmly welcomed us and were happy to answer any questions.

Authentic southern BBQ off Highway 331 between Brantley and Luverne. I had the pulled pork sandwich with a side of fries. The fries were super hot, fresh and crisp. The sandwich had a heaping helping of pork smothered in tangy, sweet BBQ sauce. You order at the outside window and have the option to eat inside or outside. We decided to enjoy the nice, spacious, inside air conditioned dining area. There were no other customers indoors at noon on a Friday. When you finish your meal you can write your name on the wall. I enjoyed my first trip to Tha BBQ Pit. I want to come back again to try the ribs and other menu options. I recommend this restaurant.

Do not judge this book by its cover! Driving home from PCB and popped in for lunch. The food was simply AMAZING- Ribs had a nice bark on them and the pulled pork had the perfect smoky bbq combo. Really can’t say enough about the BBQ. Very reasonably priced. We almost didn’t stop here but so glad we did. Order at the window and they do have inside seating (took us a second to realize that). Friendly and fast service. The building could use a little work but we chalked that up to rustic charm! Don’t forget to sign the wall 🙂

Bbq sandwich was good. That’s why a 2 star, slab of ribs seemed to have been cooked the week before. They were hard and very dried out. I wouldn’t recommend wasting your money here.

Actually stopped at the tire shop next door for trailer tires and the smell of the BBQ reeled me in! Bought several racks of ribs and returned the next day for 5 more! The food is outstanding, people are super nice!

I’ll be half of the Lord Jesus Christ and the Great Holy Spirit that brought me here, we just wanted to say thank you to Courtney for the best barbecue we’ve had in a long time. My family and I enjoyed the plates so much we wanted to come back and get some more. We also wanted to say thank you to Courtney for being there for us as we made an agreement to let the Holy Spirit do the work for us.
