Friendly staff and a relaxing place without all the noise. We enjoyed the appetizers so much by the main course ️ we couldn’t finish it but we tasted the chicken fried steak and it tasted the way a chicken fried steak should taste. Luckily we were able to take it home for later.

We were traveling through yesterday coming home from vacation and stopped her for dinner. We ordered the snow crab, alligator, and fried catfish. Everything was horrible. Service was horrible too. I’m a server so I’m not the type to complain but it was very disappointing. The crab had a smell and my husband told me he thought it was bad but I felt it was okay and ate some of it (considering we paid $50) and shortly after had shellfish poisoning. I called the owner to inform her that it made me sick so they wouldn’t serve anyone else the bad crab. She said “well we can’t know if it was our crab.” I told her it was the last and only thing I ate for dinner and asked her to keep others from getting sick and she still argued they’ve “never had any problems” with their crab. I’m so glad my daughter didn’t eat it. Posting this so people know the kind of service/ food you’ll be getting here. And to make sure whatever you eat is not spoiled!! Because they will serve it to you anyways. I’ll be puking for the next couple of days.

Great fried catfish and shrimp!!! This place has a wide variety of different food. Definitely something for everyone here. We will be visiting this area regularly and will make this a destination every time. Delgado Approved!!!

Great food cooked to order! Everything came out hot. The wait staff is very friendly and efficient! Very accommodating to large groups if you call in advance and make arrangements. They were great with our group of 15 couples and even put us on separate checks!

It’s an interesting little place that serves mostly fried seafood and some steaks and hamburgers – but they also have fried rice, egg rolls, and pad thai on the menu. We had fried zucchini, egg rolls, a steak with baked potato and a salad, and the fried catfish and shrimp combo platter. Everything was good! But it wasn’t anything special, and I feel it was maybe a little overpriced. The staff was friendly enough but we saw other guests have to get their own drink refills a time or two, and there were maybe 4 tables seated with plenty of empty space. All in all I’m not sure it’s a place I’d recommend to folks but I don’t think the food is necessarily bad.
