While I prefer to eat at local restaurants, I occasionally go to a chain restaurant. I went to Texas Roadhouse thinking about getting a steak, but changed my mind once I got there and watched the servers bringing different meals to everyone. I ended up ordering the salmon with rice and a loaded baked potato. I ate every bit of the salmon. It was seasoned and cooked well. The rice was good, too. I felt my potato could have been hotter. I know that sounds like a first world problem, but it obviously sat on the plate for a bit until the salmon was done. I also received free bread and cinnamon butter before my main meal came. Overall, I recommend giving Texas Roadhouse a try.

It was okay. Loved the sitting area, but service was not good at all. When I said she hadn’t asked if we wanted a refill or anything, the waitress finally came over. I’m pretty sure she heard me tell my man. Then it took over an hour for us to get our meal. Right when we got it, we asked for to go boxes. We were full from all the bread plus didn’t want to wait any longer.

This visit we had 6 to our party. The restaurant was pretty full and we were very happy that we still got our meal in a timely manner. We had some friends that were new to this chain, and of course, they too loved the special butter bread and spread. Our table was full of great food, and everyone had a great meal without any issues.

I ordered the grilled salmon with veggies. Salmon was perfect, flaky, and delicious. The vegetables were a little tough as they could have used a few more minutes being steamed. Service was ok. Our waitress forgot to provide us with utensils, so we had to wait to start eating our food. Forgot my daughter fries, and had slightly long period of time between checking on our table. So when we needed refills, we had to wait a bit. To be fair, it was quite busy at dinner time, so we were very understanding and patient. And our waitress was very polite and funny.

Had dinner with a friend. Food was good for me I had steak and it was prepared as I liked and tasted great. My friend had chicken and she said it was kinda dry. We were able to carry on a conversation without difficulty as the noise level was moderate. I always enjoy Texas Roadhouse.

Got there a bit late at 10pm. I know they close it at 10:30pm but nevertheless our waitress was very nice and happy to serve us. The food was good and since we were one of the last customers it was not too long to get our food. It was a good time and my steak was well cooked and my sweet potato was packed with marshmallows..

We were seated right away and waited on quickly. I had a salad with my pulled pork dinner which was very tasty. We live about 45 minutes away so by the time we arrived home, I was so sick! I believe it was the salad because I took some of the pork home with me, cautiously ate it the next day and did not get sick.

I have tried the other local steakhouse franchises. This experience was the best, all around. Quality was excellent and the price was very reasonable. The place was packed, for good reason. Staff did a good job, overall.

Last night we had a party of 16 visit the Texas Roadhouse on Irvington to celebrate a birthday. Quinn, our server, the only server we had for all of us, did an amazing job at making sure we were satisfied and got everything we asked for. She was very polite and sweet and never got flustered, even though there were a lot of us to serve. I was very impressed with the quality of the service she provided us. Please pass on my review and my compliments to her, as she is very deserving.
