Food was on point as always. Service was excellent tonight. Our server was fast and attentive. 2 of the managers stopped by at our table to make sure everything was up to par. One even took the time to chat for a moment. Which was nice because we were treating my Dad and a family friend that lives abroad. Excellent dining experience.

This is the first time I’ve been to the Texas Roadhouse restaurant and it’s really delicious. The beef tenderloin is extra tender!

Was not impressed. The steak was dry and over cooked. The potato was hard not cooked long enough. The restaurant was extremely hot. Seemed like they had the a/c off. Was uncomfortable to sit and eat. However the waitress was nice and on point. And the margarita we had was delicious.

We’re early diners to avoid the crowds and we could tell this restaurant gets very crowded on a Friday evening. It’s also very loud and almost all booths. Very few tables and chairs for dining. Our waitress was happy, attentive and energetic. Drinks were nothing special; usual chain concoctions. And the BREAD rolls!!! That alone gets the 4 stars. Soft, chewy, yeasty and oh so good with the cinnamon butter. Just melt in your mouth deliciousness. Our dinners were served promptly and hot. And we were offered extra bread rolls to take home…. But truthfully not as good cold as they are straight from the oven.

Traveled almost 5000 miles in the last 2 weeks from KY. We pulled into our hotel and saw that Texas Roadhouse was still open. We got checked in and walked over to place our order for 2 Half Rack of Ribs, 2 Baked Potatoes and 3 Salads to go, at 9:30 pm on a Monday night. Samara was the bartender and she took our order. She was kind, quick and efficient. She never stopped moving and she handled 12 people at the bar with ease. 2 people came in after us and ordered food to stay and she served them without any kind of attitude that the restaurant was closing in 20 minutes. She made them drinks and got their order placed. She was also handling a full bar of people while cleaning up her area. It was an awesome experience and if you didn’t know, bartenders like her are difficult to find. IMO, Texas Roadhouse should give her a raise and a bonus! We got our order and she reviewed it with me and made sure we had everything we needed prior to leaving. If we ever travel thru Topeka again we will make it a point to come here to eat! Thank you Samara and thank you Texas Roadhouse for hiring an excellent employee.

We called several hours ahead to let them know we had a party of 12. They said they could handle that. When we got there they wanted to seat us at 2 different tables. We asked to talk to the manager and within 5 minutes she had pulled a couple tables together and apologized for the inconvenience. Our food was great. They gave us 2 waitresses that did a splendid job! Overall a great experience!

We go to TR about once a month and the food is always spectacular! Their grilled salmon is better than Red Lobster and Longhorn Steakhouse. The fried catfish also comes with a delicious house-made tartar sauce. The menu items are a tad pricey, but I’ve never had a bad dining experience there! Staff are always well-trained and friendly. My only complaint is how loud it always is, sometimes you have to practically yell to hear the person across the table from you.

I’ve avoided getting the steak here for the past few visits. This time I decided to get the steak. I should have avoided it. Not sure how they temp the steaks, in fact I asked and no one including the owner/operating manager (Marge) could tell me. Maybe I should have asked the first manager/lead that brought the steaks out and asked us to cut into them. If it hasn’t happened every time I get the steak I wouldn’t write the review. When you have to send a steak back they throw a skillet on it to super cook the steak to get it back as fast as they can. When that happens all the juices that are in the steak are gone and you get a dried steak, not to mention you sides are cold now too. But Marge told us the cooks are doing a great job and ours was the first ones to go back today.

Great food and visit over all. Only complaint is our drink order was taken like a minute after we sat down, however it tood more than 10 minutes for our drinks to arrive. Rolls were nice and fresh, daughter’s mac and cheese was good.
