First of all, the brisket here is tender and delicious. Can’t go wrong with the brisket. The potato salad and cowboy beans were good as well. The bbq sauce they have is decent. Price-wise..they’re a bit steep but nothing too overwhelming. Comparable to Bill Miller prices. The atmosphere though is where they struggle. If you plan to eat in, be prepared to sweat because they have no air conditioning. They have fans blowing but they’re circulating air from the outside so you know what that means? Texas heat blowing right in. If you can deal with the heat, then give this place a try.

If you are looking pit SMOKED BBQ, this ain’t the place. I should have known when we pulled up and couldn’t smell a pit cooking. The entrance displays the meats and they did not look inviting. However, since we drove down from San Antonio based on excellent reviews we ordered the brisket. Very tender, very large portions, NO FLAVOR. The sauce is sweet. Not at all what we had hoped for. WATCH OUT FOR SPEED TRAPS TOO. This small town has high quality police vehicles on every corner.

One of the best BBQ places I’ve ever been to, brisket was outstanding, sausage was delicious , service was great, only thing was potato salad was a little dry, nachos were loaded great place will definitely drive back well worth it.

Out of all the “great” BBQ places I’ve tried this had got to be one of the best I’ve had. The only thing they could possibly improve upon would be adding some more side options. Hopefully in the future they can expand their menu but until then everyone they serve is AMAZING! I never thought I’d find brisket as good as my dad’s anywhere but theirs is better(don’t tell him I said that)

Went here for the first time. What can I say, by far hands down the best bbq in the Pleasanton/Jourdanton area. The portions are very large. The ribs, fall off the bone great. The turkey, just wow!! The brisket again, wow!!! Looking for great bbq this is the place.

I’m pretty picky with my bbq, and I hardly try new places bc I don’t want to be disappointed. My husband and I were heading back from poteet and saw it on the side, and we decided to try it bc of the good reviews. It was very good! The staff were friendly, and the food came out super fast. Fresh tea. All the sides were great, too. I would definitely stop back in if I’m ever in the area again.

Been going here since I moved to town and they have yet to disappoint! Their brisket, sausage and chicken are always cooked and seasoned to perfection. Their homemade potato salad is the best I’ve had in years and their pudding is a great way to top off for dessert.
