This place feels like a down-home restaurant. The servers all had smiles and the food was awesome!! I will say, do NOT be in a hurry to eat and leave. The food definitely takes its time. HOWEVER, I attribute this to the fact that it is made to order and fresh. The chicken fried steak is wonderful! I also had to try the onion rings, can I just say yum .

We love checking out small hometown restaurants that have history. This cute restaurant has a 50’s milkshake/restaurant vibe with it’s round barstools and sign above the register that had prices of food and drinks for 0.25-0.50 each. Such a neat place with traditional breakfast items and comfort lunch foods.

Would recommend to anybody. I ordered off what I thought was a menu of side dishes. The prices suggested small portions. And I wanted to try a little of everything. I was very wrong. Just crazy good prices for very very healthy portions. Everything was delicious. Great service. I’ll definitely be back.

We really enjoyed lunch at this small town diner. The staff was incredibly friendly and service was excellent. I had a huge burger that was as good or better than you would get at any modern day, fussy restaurant. The place was filled with locals and most folks seemed to know each other as well at the staff, I love that. I would eat here again without hesitation.

Have always liked this restaurant. Has a lot of history, and has friendly people working there. Food is what you would expect for a breakfast type restaurant. Hot black coffee, and cold water. If you want to get a taste of Dayton, this is where you go.

Good food and a good selection. I’ve always enjoyed what I’ve ordered. Should relocate to bigger building with adequate parking.

Subpar food. Bland. Bacon was like a rock. Pancake was so chewy you could barely cut it with a fork. Country rock music blaring. No one came back after our food was brought to check on us. No, it was not busy.
