We had an absolutely pleasant date night!! April the waitress was absolutely wonderful and kind. The owner actually came out from behind the stove to check on every single table to make sure that everything was made to satisfaction! Very down to earth hometown feel as soon as you walk in the door! And did I mention that the food is amazing!! Grilled shrimp on a bed of rice with mashed potatoes and a side salad was my meal. Chicken fried steak (regular size) with mashed potatoes and gravy and pinto beans for my husband’s meal. ****THESE PINTO BEANS ARE THE BEST I’VE EVER TASTED!!!!!**** And we cannot forget the wonderful fried pickles for our starter!! (The picture of the fried pickles was actually taken after we had already eaten half of the basket. What can I say? We were hungry and there were very, very, very good!!!!) This is a definite must go to restaurant!!!!!!!

I have always had a wonderful experience with great food. This time I picked up and had pd for extra rolls and condiments which there were none. The fish was cold and hard the fries were thrown back in the grease and the salad dressing was on the salad and was soggy. I only live 2 miles from the restaurant and this was the 1st time I was really let down. I eat there a lot and order to pick up a lot. Tonight was a waste. Just couldn’t eat it.

I live in Los Angeles and here for Thanksgiving, I have a really hard time finding restaurants where I live that makes home cooking type meals, so I was excited when I saw this one. I came in to give it a try and was very pleased with the quality and meal portions. Janie B was my server, her and the hostess both did an amazing job.

I give 2 star I ordered worth 5.95 of scrambled egg and I was expecting 1 order but na only 1 egg,well I’m ok about it but hair in the grits is a no go specially after I call them and let them know about it they want me to complain to door dash for a refund,anyway I don’t need a refund I just want to let them know to be aware of it because they are the one who make the food not door dash

Thought this would be a great change for breakfast the food was decent but the service was horrific. The person at the front of the house was very kind and cheerful from there it went down hill. I had to ask for coffee to be refilled and there for more creamer. The waitress threw it into the container it goes in. If you are in food service you should be a little more gracious if you had a bad day try not to take it out on the people who support your livelihood. I waited tables before and never treated people like this. Tips from me are generally great but not today. They do need to learn how to make toast though!

For down home feel good country cooking. Wow. I had the chicken fried chicken, onion rings and an order of fried pickles. My buddy had the chicken fried steak. The food was just awesome. Our server was really good, and she was funny. The price was so reasonable. Highly recommend it. Looks like they have an awesome breakfast all day menu as well.
