Usually get the teriyaki chicken box for lunch but have been trying out their various sushi, fusion and sashimi options. Sashimi is fresh but my mix wasn’t much of one last time so I passed. The fusion rolls are quite tasty and better than I had expected for this location. Variety could be broadened (instead of eel sauce and avocado on almost all options) but the rolls are tasty and have gotten better over the years. Not sure what happened to the wasabi but it had no kick–only a lumpy green paste (ginger had more kick!). The seaweed salad and shrimp tempura are hard to pass up after you have had them once.

Very unbelievable, if you want to work here beware of the owners. Very irresponsible management. I am a person who is an overachiever, close to 60 hours per week as I preformed better, I was promised a better pay, however the pay that was given to me made me feel like I was worthless. I ended up leaving this place for better opportunities because I couldn’t continue to work with people that exploited their employees. The owners still own me 40 hours of work and in order for him to pay me, he wants me to return to work, but now I am in a better place. The reason why I’m writing this review is to bring awareness to others.

I absolutely love this place. The food was fresh and super delicious. I had the teriyaki chicken and shrimp tempura roll and the flavors were amazing and the portion size was more than enough. I might just go back tomorrow.

Great Japanese food! However this is not a “sushi restaurant” as many people commonly misinterpret, but a Japanese grill with Sushi elements. If your in the mood for Sushi and don’t wanna break the bank I still highly recommend if your in Hyattsville (Next to the Chipotle).

Super slow. No customer service. They nickel and dime you over sauce. They charge .40 when it’s free everywhere else. I had asked for the sauce. When he gave me the food it was missing. When I asked him about it, he held his hand out for the $.40. Instead of saying sorry that I waited 20 min and for their language miscommunication when I ordered, they are pressed about 40 cents. Not that I came here much but I def won’t come again. There is a better place on Queens chappel rd anyways.
