If you’re passing through La Grande, consider passing by Tequila’s Family Mexican Restaurant! We had an unexpected stop and late night dinner here and absolutely loved our experience. The service was quick and attentive and we absolutely loved the atmosphere and all the beautiful artwork. The food was fresh and we enjoyed every bite. We ordered the carne asada fajitas, chicken enchiladas, and the sopapilla for dessert. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re passing through!

My husband had some delicious soft tacos. My quesidillo suffered from lack of enough cheese, the meat was good, it was too dry.

10 out of 10!! Definitely recommend. We got stranded because of snow and weren’t expecting much from a small town Mexican restaurant, but boy oh boy, we were delightfully surprised! The carne asada fajitas were THE BEST I’VE EVER HAD! The steak was amazingly moist and juicy and the peppers and onions were absolute perfection! I’m also not usually a fan of guac, but it was so fresh and delicious. We also got chicken enchiladas which were solid. Would 100% make a point to stop here on my next visit through!

I ordered beef enchilada plate that comes with rice n beans & ordered 1 extra enchilada, and a side of rice n beans. I was splitting this meal. Attached is the pic I took of the side order of the rice n beans.

The service was very friendly and quick. The music is more modern Hispanic and we enjoyed it very much but the food was really good! The chicken mole was exactly the way I like it and husbands shrimp fajita was loaded with big yummy shrimp and mushrooms along with peppers and onions. I highly recommend giving them a try!
