I went on a Wednesday afternoon around 2:00 p.m., The service was great. Manuel was very attentive and the food presentation was awesome. I ordered the whole fried tilapia. I was truly impressed by the decor and place settings, there were cloth napkins with appetizer plates which is very unusual in most Mexican restaurants, I loved it because I always hate eating my chips and only having paper napkins. The music was upbeat and even the bathroom was nice and clean experience.

My friend & I were super excited to try this place for the 1st time. The Pupusas were the WORST Pupusas I had ever had, they were rock hard! The Curtido (Cabbage Slaw) didn’t taste that great either. If my waitress came around more often I could’ve let her know. I tried to just eat the inside of the Pupusa because I was starving & I didn’t have time for them to remake my meal because we were going to go watch a movie after. I did tell her before we got the bill, banged the Pupusa on my plate to show her how hard it was & her answer was “I’m sorry”….she didn’t care at all.

This was our second visit. On the first one, we were turned away, the hostess stating that they did not have enough staff for more guests (the place was not crowded, I guess staffing issues). We decided to come back again some time in the future so we did. We were told that we probably would have to wait 20 minutes or so for food, that was fine.

My family stopped in on a Saturday around 5 and the place was fairly empty. We had been wanting to try it out because it is in the neighborhood. We were seated quickly. They brought chips and salsa right away. We all thought the salsa was delicious with a smoky flavor. Drinks (alcoholic and non) were delivered in a timely fashion. We had table side guac which was also delicious. Everyone enjoyed their dishes and we all agreed that the portions were generous. All four of us had a portion to bring home for lunch the next day. Love the atmosphere and decor…a whole room dedicated to Freida Kahlo and a boat with skeleton sailors filled with empty Modelo cans. We absolutely loved it and we hope that the restaurant is a success. Too many restaurants have died at this location.

I went with my boyfriend for the first time and loved it. Our server was nice and attentive. I LOVE the decor in there. It’s clear they spent a lot of time getting it all together. There are lots of cocktails to choose from and it’s nice they’re open late. There’s not many places in this area open that late. I got the beef birria tacos, and they were very tasty.
