The best Mexican food in Fairfield. Specials are always top notch, margaritas are the best in the area (and always seem to get a TOUCH stronger when you order another?) Ryan is a great guy who you can tell really stands by his staff and gives his kitchen whatever they need to put out a tremendous product. Tough to find an owner as connected to his team as he is these days. My favorite restaurant in town.

I was kinda upset with the demeanor of the owner/manger when I asked him a question about seating. I felt the need to just leave, but I decided to give this place a try since I’ve never been here before. Our waitress was super nice even though it was super busy. My drinks were a 10/10 and super strong! I do want to mention that everything on the menu is oddly around, if not the same price, which is weird to me.

Literally JUST GO HERE!!! The food is unbelievably amazing, so flavorful, so fresh. The spicy skinny margaritas are insanely delish. They have a great selection of tequilas to try! The people are beyond friendly, so welcoming and make you feel like you’re home!! I honestly will say this is my favorite Mexican restaurant in ct and I am a Mexican food fanatic!! Give these amazing people your money and you will leave feeling very verrrry happy!

I feel like maybe I came on a bad day?¿ but the experience was very much subpar here. My partner and I came here for dinner on a Friday night, the restaurant looked busy which was quick to draw us in. First things first, the food was subpar. My partner considers herself a “Mexican restaurant connoisseur” and said this place was far from the best she’s had. She usually takes leftovers and didn’t even want to take it home which was surprising. I can also attest the food seemed to be a bit bland, I kept saying it needed some salt and pepper, which I think is the furthest thing any Mexican restaurant would want to hear given their culturally eclectic flavors. Also a burrito made up of only cheese and meat with a bland sauce on top? All the toppings you’d normally think were in a burrito were served on the side. I don’t know if that was for aesthetic reasons or what. Anywho, if you’re not used to seasoning your food diversely, this food would be satisfying. Service wise, our waitress disappeared after taking our orders for our entrees and we had to leave from our table to ask for our bill. Otherwise she was friendly. The atmosphere seemed full of cheery folks from Fairfield enjoying drinks and socializing and the other servers and staff from the restaurant seemed very friendly. But boy oh boy, we got plenty of mosquito bites as the sun went down we couldn’t bare it anymore. The server who brought us our book after swiping our card said she relayed the message to the owners which was kind and attentive to appease our dissatisfaction. Overall, would I go back? Probably not. But the vibes were cool I guess.

Went with a party of 8 for a bday dinner. Location is small but mighty. Very friendly attentive staff..margaritas are good and strong but….best of all is the food. If your looking for a great skirt steak, cooked different ways I highly recommend coming here. My skirt steak was perfectly cooked well priced and delicious. When they say cooked over charcoal they meant it. I grew up eating churassco at argentine grill and this location comes very close to getting that great flavor. Highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a good meal with a local hole in the wall appeal that is just great.
