Yummy Yummy Yummy. This restaurant is the definition of “Cheap and Cheerful.” They are known for their mini hotdogs. 2 of Teo’s probably equals a regular sized hotdogs. The hot dogs are made locally. There is nothing fancy about it just good food, full bar, Keno, and CASH ONLY! There is an ATM on site.

Anyone who ever liked hot dogs must have lunch here at least once if you ever find yourself in Pittsfield, MA. The famous specialty is a little hot dog served on a right sized bun with meat sauce on top. Delicious! The fries are also excellent. Many do take out but there is sufficient seating and table service inside. There is a bar and you will find an assortment of the regular local patrons in attendance anytime you visit. It’s a colorful gathering.

This place was a great find! First off the prices here are amazing. The everything burger (although without the conventional bun) was amazing and so was my grilled cheese, but the real star was the hot dog. I absolutely loved the chili sauce and the buns used for the hot dogs. They are “mini” but surprisingly larger than what I thought they would be. The staff here is friendly and nice (as well as quick) and the whole establishment has a great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a quick eat in Pittsfield.

Nice old place the locals know well. Cash only. Quick and friendly service. Place has been in my hometown for a very long time and my grandfather who is not able to get around as well anymore was pretty excited when we showed up with some Teos. They are mini Chili dogs. Different from the ones you get in Detroit. They are a bit unique and if your traveling through its worth a try. They put something in their chilli sauce. I can’t put my finger on it exactly, but see if you can guess what it is.

Haven’t been there for 30-35 years. Food was fantastic. Waitresses weren’t very friendly. No smiles. All freaking business. And. “Cash Only”. Who the hell does this for a restaurant.. I won’t be back. To bad for the grumpy servers

Love this place! I was only in town visiting for a week or so, and in 3 visits…. ate almost 30 dogs! I will visit this place for as long as it’s in business. And will be sad the day that it closes.

I’ve seen the kingdom of heaven and it’s TEO’s in Pittsfield. Upon arriving you quickly realize you are about to have a powerful religious experience. Transcending space and time, these holy meat tubes take you on a journey that cannot be easily expressed in words or pictures. Rumor has it that on the fifth day God gave them crispy mini hotdogs, soft buns, warm chili sauce, tangy mustard, and chopped onions. Smoosh two together, wrap ‘em up and send up down your gullet. Ascend to heaven with the father, the son, and 6 with everything. Seek salvation by throwing a few of these boys in a blender with milk, protein powder, and fruit cake.

Every time I am in Pittsfield I make it a point to stop in and have a frosted mug of beer and five dogs,I just wish that there was a “ Teo’s Hotdog “ down here in Southeast North Carolina can’t wait stop in this summer. Oh and by the way I’ve been going there since the 70’s when I lived there as a permanent resident.

I stood there for 15 mins without any of the staff saying a word to acknowledge my presence. Finally after 20 mins, when an older man sitting at the bar decided he should head home (we had a monster blizzard starting later that day), it seems that my waiting for service was getting on her nerves, so I got the stink eye & was rudely made the statement of, “Do you need anything!” So I placed my order to go, and found out that they only accept cash. No problem, I see the ATM. I go back to use it, but it’s out of service. I have to go back to the bank, pull out cash and drive back again. I have my 4 kids in the van all wanting dinner, impatient, whiney and wanting to get home. I got back to the register, had the super happy waitress take my cash right away, then walk off, after I suggested that someone put a sign up about the ATM being out of service. I got a snide “There is one!” Then I stood there, waited another 10 mins, for a young guy to realize I just needed to pick up my order. I looked at both doors for any sign about the ATM, but nothing was posted on either door, except for stickers about credit cards. Food was cold by the time I walked outside. I used to come here w my Grandma, she would have her Budweiser, not the typical family drama, but we had a good time. Those days they had cigarette machines. Now I’m dating myself, I feel extra old… I’ve not been back for hot dogs since, and unless you’re a usual, or don’t expect much, don’t mind waiting for an extended period of time and getting cold hot dogs, then by all means go for it; but I’m all set. I’ll just stick to the good memories.
