UPDATE… They actually have weenie and egg and Spam and egg on the menu. What? For those of us that grew up on these you will be delighted. Great tortillas. NO, GREAT TORTILLAS. This is one of those I’ve dubbed “Magic Tortillas”. Its magical because it transports me to my grandmothers and moms tortillas. Hope you can see how fluffy these are in the pictures. Ive heard great things about the corn tortillas as well, I just cant quit these flour ones. People either like the “bone in” pork chop or they like it diced. I like it both ways. This has the bone. Cooked to perfection. Finger licking lip smacking yum. Great prices. Great service. Service is generally prompt but not overly friendly… That said…they are not rude…just reserved … Im always judging the bean and cheese as well, score! Great carne asada and miga tacos…my friend had the special with soft beef tacos rice and beans…they said they loved it…it’s casual…it’s neighborhood. another great HITW (c) (Hole in the wall) that is on my tortilla radar for sure!

Food was good, tortillas are homemade and really delicious. We ordered a couple of different tacos, the bean and cheese and carne guisada were very good. It was short staffed and only the one waitress was running around. Waitress did a great job at handling everything in a timely manner. The lengua and beef fajita were not the best.

This is a quaint little Mexican restaurant right off of Bandera. Ordered the Caldo and Res (beef). Food and service were good. The sweet tea was super duper sweet but since I was eating soup it wasn’t a big deal. Give this place a try!!
