With a dearth of good BBQ in the area, this place is a nice sanctuary for those who love some southern style carnivorous fare. I’ve been here many times before and it never disappoints. The one area where they could improve is that they use low-grade bread for their sandwiches. If Popeyes can make a lauded roll, so can the little guy.

I love this place! Super cool vibes here, super welcoming and friendly staff. The food is amazing, I got the veggie burrito, my friend told me to pick two sides so I picked the cucumber salad and the fresh cornbread. For all of this + a bottle of water it was only $12.94! It was all amazing, the BBQ sauce in the burrito really pulled it all together. In terms of the decor: there’s words on the ceiling written with bottle caps. For real! Haha! Words like BEANS, GREENS.. other words I forget.. but you’ll have to see for yourself and check out Tennessees Real BBQ Braintree.

First and foremost, I do not enjoy giving low star reviews. Everyone works hard at restaurants and deal with more than most do on a day to day basis.

Coming from someone born and raised in the deep-south: this is the best BBQ I’ve had in the northeast hands down. The Two Meat platter w/ Beef Ribs and Brisket was everything I wanted it to be.

I hosted a 50th birthday and had it catered by Tennessee BBQ – it was perfect!

Okay, so boom. I ordered the burrito, mac&cheese, and jambalaya. The burrito was AMAZING! The jambalaya was surprisingly delicious! I was skeptical but that thang was so good. The mac & cheese could use a lil more flavor and the cornbread was good! Overall, very happy with my decision. (SN: I’ve also tried their cucumber salad in the past & that’s to die for!)

I always am a little skeptical about Massachusetts BBQ but hope that someone will bring real BBQ to the area. This is my first time at Tennessee BBQ. Truthful, it’s just okay. The BBQ smells hits you right as you walk in the door. We ordered 2 sandwiches, the tangy North Carolina pulled pork, and the sweeter, regular pulled pork with mac and cheese for 1 side and corn bread for the other. We got our food in a timely manner. Both sandwiches were cooked perfectly, very tender. I preferred the tangy pork, but my friend preferred the other. The cornbread was good, nice and fluffy but not too sweet. It could have used butter, though I didn’t see any. The Mac and Cheese is about what you would expect, nothing special. I would love to try the BBQ BURITTO and chicken wings next time. They have 3 sauces in big tanks you can add to your meal, but no explanation as to the differences between the sauces. You are just left to experiment on your own. They also had Frank’s RedHot you could add. The tables weren’t the cleanest, and the fruit flys are a good indicator of how much molasses is in the restaurant. They are on Doordash and Ubereats. If you are a BBQ fan like me, it’s worth trying, but take it home if you can

Meat was burnt, pulled pork tasted like charcoal. My partner and I got sick this morning from the food. The girl at the counter was rude and felt rushed. I used to eat here for years when the food was fresh, but I will not be coming here anymore.

By far the best BBQ I had soo far. Food was great and the portion was great. Definitely coming back again but I will still explore more BBQ around New England.
