This was such a lovely experience. The restaurant decor is beautiful. The flavor combinations were very interesting and workers. Hats off the chef for his creativity. The cocktails were great…I even liked how they tagged the water bottles. Everything about this restaurant is very thoughtful. Our servers were very attentive. Highly recommend!

My wife and I enjoyed a fantastic dinner here. The menu was a pre-paid, three-course meal in which we could choose between 3-5 options for appetizer, entree, and dessert. We opted for one alcohol pairing and one non-alcoholic beverage pairing, and both options were well worth it. The food was high quality and flavorful, slightly progressive and inventive but not “weird.” The staff were all very pleasant and highly knowledgeable about the food and beverages. My only complaint is that the restaurant was surprisingly loud, especially for a relatively small place. Some sound dampening materials on the walls and ceiling might help. We will definitely return here!

Very good service and interesting menu. I had the beets appetizer which was alright. I liked the pairing of the quark and granola. The main dish of peekytoe crab was very good. A little more of an Asian spin and it ate a little sweet but still very nice with the crab.

You’ve got to visit Tempus STL. I’ve visited Tempus for standard dinner service and for their Friends of James Beard tasting menu. Simply put, it’s exquisite. The flavors in each and every dish work together perfectly. And, each dish is cooked perfectly. The service is perfect, but slightly fussy for my liking. Nonetheless, the waiters were knowledgeable, polite, and helpful each visit. Lastly, the design and decor are flawless! Do visit.

The wife and I had dinner there for Valentine’s Day. The food was excellent. Each course was well thought out, plated beautifully and cooked expertly. The service was also excellent, the servers were very attentive and polite. The restaurant itself was very intimate but also felt open and we felt right at home. Music selection was banging. I definitely recommend Tempus for anyone who wants to have a excellent and exciting meal and a wonderful atmosphere.

I was extremely hyped about Tempus, after hearing so many good reviews not only online but from friends. Unfortunately, was not a fan of two of the three dishes ordered. I’m not sure if this was a newer menu or if the night of our reservation was an off night, but the food was not impressive for the cost. Both the mushroom with caramelized onion (hen of the woods which looked and tasted completely different from what I’ve had before, and the onions being more like wet noodles than carmelized) and crab dish (lump crab meat in sauce with rice) were a disappointment, though the pork steak was tasty. For the small menu and high cost, I was expecting the food to be fantastic :/ But the drinks and foccacia were amazing!

Don’t hesitate. Make your reservation NOW! This dining experience was well worth the wait and every single penny! They have nailed every detail, design, display and taste. The food was spectacular, beautiful, well thought, creative and elegant. The staff was on point, knowledgeable, kind and took Covid precautions meticulously while still making guests feel comfortable and relaxed. The atmosphere, music and even the art work was done so perfectly. The chef even came to our table to wish us a happy anniversary. I truly can not say enough good things about Tempus. If you’re wondering if this should be your next night out, the answer is “definitely”.
