Really lovely “hole in the wall” with a long history. Food was excellent, we had the island favorite and a daily special chicken dish that were both so amazing. Portions were smaller than what you might find on average, but absolutely not more than you’d ever want. We left feeling very full and not wanting more. The dishes are so flavorful. We also had the conch fritters which were so good, and nearly identical to what we’ve had in the Bahamas, where they are a tradition. Service was friendly and they even gave us the history of the place on request. The inside feels like a time capsule of old Florida, and, while dim, still charming. Highly recommend this restaurant, and especially the Island Favorite fish dish (as pictured).

This food was out of bounds! Their pan fried snapper and filet are mouth watering goodness. From the complimentary bread, fries shrimp and oysters, and they’re Cajun sweet potato side, everything was spectacular! Service is also incredibly friendly, but this is a tight knit community.

Enjoyed an amazing dinner with my boyfriend and had Marcy as our server. She was incredible, knowledgeable about everything on the menu and so incredibly kind and personable. The food was amazing but we will certainly be going back to see Marcy every time we are on the island. She went above and beyond to give us a memorable experience and became a friend by the end of our dinner.

Positive: fried shrimp very delicious. That’s about it. Most of the rest rather dismal. Server had an attitude. Pho soup had very few noodles (see photo). Others were complaining about food also. Tiniest cocktail drinks. Used to love this place. The atmosphere is dark and inviting. But the whole experience needs a lot of reworking.
