The place had a very weeb friendly ambiance. Comfortable! The temari sushi are also great! The seafood were fresh and tasty. I especially liked the otoro and uni nigiri. The uni nigiri particularly looks very fresh.

Walking into this place as a person who isn’t into anime or manga, I was skeptical at first. Pokemon everywhere (wearing Santa hats!) and kitschy seashell decor had me in a mindset of “ok, they’re playing to the comic con crowd, don’t expect much”, but holy cow. These folks know sushi.

I would frequently come here and enjoy it. As of today I won’t be anymore. Service with the waiter was alittle awkward. He would serve me over and over as opposed to my partner even though they ordered their meal clearly, I also found a hair in my crunchy dragon roll and decided to not continue eating. Also one of my rolls went to another table and it showed up on my bill and I had to point out we never received that roll and to get it removed from the check. Honestly would’ve liked a refund for my 50 dollar check for all of these unfortunate happenings in a place I really used to love.

I ordered a Nigiri omkase and the experience was absolutely fantastic. Fresh and wide variety of fish and seafood and traditional dishes accompanied by more modern takes on sushi, I will definitely come back as soon as I can.
