Best tacos in Echo park ! Authentic food must try everything and the aguas fresca are nice and fresh in a sealed bottle. Family friendly and all the employees are super nice. Totally recommend going.

Worst Birria tacos ever!! I’ve had my handful of tacos de birria around the city and never have I had this unique funky taste. The Birria or Tortilla had a really weird old oil taste to it. It was really hard to distinguish where it was coming from. The salsa tasted like burnt chiles and had no spice to it. I was really looking forward to enjoying them and just couldn’t. As of now, I will never go back and rather stick to my birria spots.

It was my first time trying Teddy’s and I loved it. I believe this location is still fairly new. At the time that I went they did not have a menu on display but the cashier that helped me out was really friendly and helpful. I ordered the deluxe plate (birria taco, tostada, mulita, quesadilla, consome) and I ended up liking the quesadilla & taco the most. Everything was so juicy and flavorful. In addition, they give you a big bowl of hot sauce on the side which was super good!!

Must stop if you like birria. The tacos and the vampiros are bomb here. The quesadillas are small but okay. You get more bang for your dollar if you order the plate. If you buy individual items, you will pay more. Staff at other place would recommend the best deal but here, they seem a little money hungry. Over all good spot now that I know to get the plates.
