The food was ok. Nothing special. Tried quesabirria for the first time the day before at another restaurant so I was craving it for dinner. Unfortunately the spot I went to closed before I could order dinner so I thought to try Tecate….the quesabirria was NOTHING like the ones I tried. I was expecting them to be cheesy like a quesadilla and there was no cheese inside and the only cheese was on top. Was heavily covered in cilantro. The consome tasted nothing like au jus, very greasy. The crispy relleno was anything but crispy. It was super soggy and floating in some sauce.

Was not what we were expecting. Order Cucumber jalapeño Marg. Was so sweet, I could not taste the tequila and didn’t drink it. Tried the Cucumber cooler. Had so much Mezcal that you could not taste anything else. Order street tacos on Taco Tuesday. Order with flour tortillas, and they came with corn. I tried 3 different meats, chix,pork beef. I do not even know what the flavor is. Mostly, all you could taste was the dirty grill. When I asked the bartender about the drinks and the taste he told he didn’t know he was only 20. The place was wide open at 7pm so no worry on the crowd. However we now know why they are not crowded on Taco Tuesday. My 1st time here and probably my last.

the food was great, but it took 10+ minutes just to get our drinks, 20 to get chips/salsa, and 30 just for our food to be placed. it wasn’t busy but it seemed they might’ve been slightly understaffed but there was 4 servers and like 8 tables. he apologize for the bad service, so I know he understood it was not good but if we’re paying for pretty pricey stuff, then I’d like the service to be good, if come back though!

House marg on Monday for 4.99, and the appetizers were yummy. One of the better margs I’ve had in town! The dinners looked really good too, so I will have to come back for a full dinner, and not just appetizers and drinks after work. I really enjoyed this place, and it’s close to home. Will definitely be coming back.

This place is delicious. I had a mango Fire margarita and it comes with a chamoy stick that’s bomb! The server was an absolute doll! She was so accommodating and kind even though my picky kid was being a little bit dramatic about not wanting this or that on his meal.

We had a 23-topper that was called in 4 days before to have a reservation for a birthday. We were there before 07:00PM and drinks didn’t start coming in till almost 08:00PM. The whole party were munching on chips and salsa. We ordered our food and had NEVER EATEN because it was never placed by the server. We ended up staying there having to drink 1 drink till 09:20PM and decided to go home. We were all very patient but it ruined everyone’s night.

I live right by this place and I’m surprised I haven’t been yet! It was super yummy! Their margaritas were delicious and the salsa is fabulous!! You even get bean dip on the table too which was so good. My sister got fajitas and really enjoyed them. The fresh flour tortillas are the best part! Her boyfriend got the Molcajete (their specialty) and it was fabulous!! Comes out in this beautiful display and the flavors are on point! I got the Al Pastor tacos and I thought the flavor was good but the one thing was the meat was fairly dry. But rice and beans were delicious!! We honestly all loved this place and will definitely come back again! Sit on the patio for a fun vibe!!

Found this great authentic Mexican food restaurant by accident but it’s now our regular go-to for us. New ownership as of 3 months ago so ignore reviews previous to that. The food tastes great, portions are generous, happy hour prices and Taco Tuesday prices are a bonus. (See pic of my taco). Don’t be in a hurry when you come though. The wait is worth it!
