I will start by saying that the food isn’t great here, a lot of the things they serve aren’t made at the restaurant like the tortillas & salsa they are store bought so not really authentic Mexican.

Tough to say who has the best Mexican food in the city. I’m just here to let you know that Tecate is better than the other Mexican food restaurant on the street. I’ve had both. I walked an extra half mile to Tecate from my mechanic around the corner, because it’s that much better.

First I want to thank the owner for letting rent out the restaurant for my son Bautism and birthday party. It was awesome. My guess were happy and satisfied with the waitresses. The waitresses were awesome and specially the cookers because everybody loved the flavor of the green enchiladas. I had a magician to do a show for the birthday boy and the guess. It was a surprise for my guess ( the kids). The kid’s loved the show. They sure did . Everything went smooth. You choose what food you want to serve to your guess. The place is great for small events. I really, really recommend this restaurant. I will post some pictures soon. Once again, thank you so much. Another customer happy.

I love this place. It’s the perfect little happy hour getaway that’s not packed to capacity like most places in Houston with great food. The drinks are amazing, you don’t need too many to feel a buzz. The prices or awesome. I had the 3 shrimp enchiladas with rice and beans dinner. Delish. I almost don’t want to tell anyone about this place because it’s really that good.

I went here to get breakfast on 9/2/23 sat down Lady came over she just assume that I was just getting my food to go didn’t ask she had other customers at another table that was ahead of me she took their order that when another guy came in now I was already sitting when she started taking his order okay then she came over to started mines I was telling her what I wanted that’s when she being to go and clear a table with a couple that was finished eating by then I’m really over it because I was already dealing with my husband being in the hospital right next door so No I will never come back here I believe it was a racism thing.
