Visited this lovely restaurant on Saturday, August 5, 2023. It was an excellent experience. It had that very “welcome home, you are family” feel & atmosphere. The owner & our waitress were both very friendly! They even were willing to modify a menu item to fit my young daughter”s pickier tastes with food without any hesitation. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling to or through or near Brown City, Michigan. Thanks to everyone there for a wonderful dinner!

Want to preface this by saying our waitress was very nice. However, she was doing everything but coffee refills and clearing tables on her own. I understand most were getting the breakfast buffet, but we shouldn’t have had to ask for drinks after our food order was taken. As for the food, it was cold. My frozen, not fresh made, french toast was hard as a rock around the edges. Sausage gravy tasted like flour, no flavor. The salad bar was set up and looked like it sat there overnight. The bacon was decent. Had high hopes for this place but was very disappointed. The only way I ever would return is if they invest in a better hot buffet station and improve their quality of food. I may give them a try in the future since they are fairly new, but they have had time to better the breakfast buffet. Almost forgot, they do offer eggs of choice when getting the breakfast buffet – that is a nice touch.

We were the only ones in the restraurant. The waitress was sweating profusely and using her Tshirt to wipe away tge sweat, waited 35 minutes and was informed they didn’t have baked or mashed potatoes only French fries. My Aunt and cousin got there food 7 minutes before the other 2 dinners were served. Didn’t care fir the spaghetti salad too much seasoning, didn’t like the pea salad and there wasn’t any croutons. Very limited dinner menu. No pastas at all. Lots of sandwiches but if you added a sandwich with the salad bar it was too expensive. We were not impressed at all.

Had a $15 taco dinner that was supposedly the special of the day. Greasy fried flour tortilla, with grease dripping out of the meat. Canned black beans instead of refried beans. I don’t know what that was supposed to be but tasted awful. Served also with some rice goop that was room temperature and tasted like paste.

Overpriced. Location was dirty. Food was not worth the price. That Cheese burger was 6 bucks and did not include a side. The chili on the coney was flavorless and from a can. My drink glass had bite marks and dents in it.
