Amazing food wonderful atmosphere. Very good gluten free options with great attentiveness to safety. Before I could even ask about precautions the waitress shared that they change gloves and have a separate panini press for gluten free. And the gluten free coconut cream cup was incredible!

Great place for a special occasion! I see people wear sundresses and fascinator hats for afternoon tea. Food comes out in three tiers. Soup/salad, sandwich, and dessert. The food is absolutely delicious. Lots of tea options. They make homemade butter. Ours was strawberry. The restaurant is connected to a store that you have to walk through to get to the tea room. The waitress we had was so nice! Had a great time and can’t wait to go back!

This is a wonderful, quaint little restaurant! The menu is set up so you can either order à la cart or a three course meal. I had the chicken salad croissant with a side salad and a chocolate mini Bundt cake for dessert. Peach pie was the pie of the day and the friends I was with said it’s delicious! The atmosphere is delightful. Service was excellent. There is a gift shop attached which has all kinds of cool items. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

If you haven’t been here you are sure missing out. Culinary art, tea and attention to detail are off the charts!! So kind and friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is so great. You will not be disappointed if you go. The food is outstanding and beautiful and so very delicious with large portions. The gift shop is a great addition. Go once and you will want to go again and again. This small town business is one you will surely enjoy!! A gem of a place from one small business owner to another, thanks for a wonderful time

Wonderfully eclectic shopping and some really delicious food. Outstanding service as well. The desserts are unparalleled in this area, and everything else was equally fantastic. We both enjoyed ourselves immensely. Looking forward to returning here every chance we get.

We had a wonderful lunch at The Depot celebrating a birthday. The food and service were phenomenal! It had been a few years since we had been there. It is a relaxing drive from Bloomington-Normal. Be sure to make reservations.

We had a great time at the Tea Room. The kids loved the tiers and so did the adults. It wasn’t too busy when we went, but there were many people there. It was very relaxing and enjoyable for everyone in our party from 5 years old to 60. Yummy food, friendly staff, and beautiful decor. I would recommend everyone to visit!

I absolutely love the food at this shop; the chef must be a wizard. I just want to sit there and savor every bite of my panini, salad, or dessert. Their flavored butter is Heavenly, no matter what flavor they’re serving. The servers are all friendly and eager to answer any questions about the dishes. The decor is beautiful & calming. The majority of customers here seemed to be affluent, entitled fancy ladies who never stopped gabbing, so there’s a lot of din to try to talk above. Evidently, they’re all used to such decadent luxury as none of them seemed too impressed by anything they were eating and even complained about things that I wouldn’t have had an issue with. I know it’s a tea room, and as such, you get delicate little portions, but I left feeling hungry still. It seems that you’re paying for the atmosphere and presentation rather than the portion size. I’ll just have to order extra next time, because it really is a magical dining experience!

Go here at least twice a year, birthday and Christmas. Love the tri tier. Always great food, fun atmosphere, excellent service, just a wonderful place to spend the afternoon. Unique shopping with special appeal to collectors of specialty items. Love it.
