Well it looked amazing but the service was not very good fair at best and the food wasn’t very good either, so with these things combined I wouldn’t spend the amount it cost to eat there especially if YOUR NOT RICH, the server couldn’t even get our order right and……now get this dropped a piece of our fish on the floor……now supposedly it was a new one but nothing comes put after 2 minutes that’s new….so be careful just saying better off going to Chick-fil-a !

A classic tavern. Large space, uncrowded seating, nice decor, friendly and helpful staff, broad menu. The food was good but not great. It was fresh and came out hot for our entire group, but it lacked depth of flavor. The cottage pie was definitely a 2 or 3… Order something else.

The vast majority of the reviews I write are 4 and 5 stars, sadly this isn’t one of them. We were looking forward to trying it out and we were disappointed. The atmosphere was neat but the service was minimal at best. The food was awful. The onion soup was bland, the pretzels were undercooked and doughy, the rosemary chicken was so heavily seasoned my wife’s mouth was burning.

Server was exhausted and made no bones about it. She was very nice but was having a bad day. Ordered the fish and chips which is usually very good, but there was Grease on the plate underneath the fish and chips and the fries were soggy because of the Grease. The fish was very good though. My parents had a wonderful meal. Which is all that mattered. It was my father’s birthday.

My English husband approves! We shared a scotch egg to start with. I ordered Toad in the hole and he asked for sausage and chips (off menu). The food was super flavorful and tasty! Our waitress Michele was super kind and sweet. She didn’t make us feel rushed and attended our needs.
