Went for expensive all you can eat crab legs ($69.99 each). Crab had no taste and was rubbery as if it had been cooked and warmed up or was old. Butter had no flavor and garlic mashed potatoes were instant. Our server was quick and friendly. Felt like we were robbed. Red Lobster is much better. When I called the night before to make a reservation I was told I “had” to have a reservation since they are so busy. We were there with one other table.

We love the Tavern at Green Haven! The food has always been good, sometimes the service is spotty, but typically it seems it’s the newer people and they eventually catch on.

I came here for the all you can eat crab legs, and they delivered. It was $70 and totally worth it for me personally even though I “only” ate two plates. It came with an appetizer and sides too! I got the creamy chicken and wild rice soup, garlic mashed potatoes, and green beans. It was totally worth eating them alongside my crab legs.

We enjoyed the all you can eat crab legs at the Tavern last November and they were awesome! We brought some friends to enjoy the same experience last night and we were a bit disappointed to say the least. I would question the quality of the crab legs from the distributor as many crab legs only had half the meat that you would typically find in the crab legs and the flavor was definitely less sweet than they normally are. This was disappointing after doing the work to get them open. Thank goodness it was an all you can eat as we would have walked away hungry. It took a long time and several orders to get full. Everything else was great !

We had a party reservervation of 9- family from around the country, and from the get go, the server was very rude. It was 5:30 and we were rushed to order, as if the kitchen were closing. The place had a couple other smaller tables sat, but nothing too crazy. The server then forgets to take my order, so we had to track him down. I had a roasted burger, which had some nice ingredients- but the seasoning on the roasted tomatoes does not pair well with the rest of the ingredients, and the bottom bun was soaked from a waterfall of grease and tomato juice (which were placed under the patty). Overall the food was just ok, and for a 19 dollar burger, it was a big let down. The server was rude throughout most of the experience- he seems to be too good for his job or something. My family has been coming to Greenhaven for many years- some tonight, even worked there in the 80’s. It was a sad experience, that had we a better server, may have been decent. I cannot recommend this restaurant. It is overpriced, and average food at best. Try and ask the bartender for some water! Rude employees, ruining what could have been a decent time- and for some long time patrons to have had service like this? Best of luck, Green Haven. Hopefully the course can keep you on par.

Our waiter Jake or Jacob was fantastic! Crab legs were pretty spendy but great quality and the sides were awesome too! We will definitely be back.

We just had our wedding at Greenhaven in fall 2021 (postponed from 2020 due to pandemic). Beautiful, flexible and very reasonably priced, all around. We needed a place that could fit our 250+ guest list. Greenhaven delivered, and then some. We haven’t yet received all our wedding photos (and I’ll update my review when we do), but the space (indoors and out) is gorgeous. Exposed beams, draping and more.

Only one bar tender who was running his butt off and doing a great job but obviously needed help! A second bar tender on crab night should be a must! He did the best he could with a full restaurant! Just a suggestion.

My wife and I thought we’d give the restaurant a try for our first time. Unfortunately we won’t be back. We ordered milk for our daughter and she mentioned she didn’t like it so my wife and I tried it to make sure and it tasted like fish, 100% certain it was spoiled. Most of the kids meals from their kids menu are 10 dollars. No matter what establishment it is I think 10 dollars is a bit much for a kids meal. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich which was a little tough to chew and pretty flavorless, the fries were terrible, I didn’t eat more than 4 of them and either did my kids or wife. With 2 beers and a tip I wish I could get our 73 dollars back.
