A steaming hot pot in a cold and raining day is a wonderful meal to enjoy. Since it is raining, there is no wait line. The foods are ready within the minute of ordering. Scan and order is the better option to minimize contact with waiters / waitresses. Hot pot is served in a special bowl with built-in burner to keep the pot temperature.

Good value, lots of flavor with very large portions. One hot pot is enough for 2 people. We had beef, lamb, Thai, stinky tofu (which I enjoyed but it is an acquired taste!) And takoyaki, which are basically squid balls. There’s plenty of protein in each bowl, both meat and seafood. There’s a halal option, if that’s a requirement.

I grabbed takeout here twice recently and it was absolutely delicious. I tried both the beef broth soup (#1) and the kimchi soup. Both broths were delicious and the ingredients were extremely plentiful, fresh, high quality, and delicious. There was almost TOO much stuff in the soup! Even though my orders were for takeout and it took me a solid 10-15 mins to get back to my hotel room to eat, the food was still piping hot both times, which I was kind of concerned about. My only regret is that I didn’t discover this place earlier in my travels in the area. Next time I’m in Milpitas, I’ll be visiting Tasty Pot again. Highly recommend this place to everyone!

We had the tomato base hot pot and it was the bomb! The portion is enough for a regular adult and you can always add more soup and/or items if it is not enough. They have a variety of different broths flavors, appetizers and drinks. Service is a bit dry but the food was good!

We came by during lunch hours. We were able to get seated before the restaurant filled up completely. We ordered two of the beef bowls and one lamb bowl along with drinks. I recall seeing A-cha for their drinks.. they have fruit selections and the usual milk tea selections. The servers forgot the tea that comes with the food, but they were fast to respond once we requested it. Unfortunately, I can’t do 4.5 stars here… The food comes within this food tray that sits the metal bowl and flames. If you noticed your food boiling often you can adjust the flames on the side with the little metal tab. Anyway, moving on to the food . The picture speaks for itself. Everything in the bowl was tasty! The lamb set came with a diverse amount of food with various tastes. Some of the greens were the sour kind but I love those!
