I visited Tasty N Tempting while doing a small pop-up shop across the street from their location. This was the only food place in sight and I keep seeing so many cars in and out so I had to try it. I had the 2 piece catfish plate with coleslaw for the sides. I didn’t get pics of that because it was so good and I ate it so fast. The fish was cooked to order and fried hard like I like it. It was well seasoned also. The food pictured was a plate the cashier let me try. I think she called them KD wings. Honey, garlic, ranch I think we’re the seasonings. They were soooo good. Nice combo with the flavors. Those too were cooked to order and I liked that even though you may have to wait I prefer my food fresh. The cashier was so nice and sweet too. Only thing is you can’t sit inside to eat your food, you can sit on the patio or take it to go. If I’m ever in Locust Grove I would definitely come back here.

My experience today was not favorable. I ordered a three piece catfish fillet dinner with an extra piece of fish. I am disappointed with my dinner because two of the pieces were of a decent size but the other two pieces were very small. And considering I paid for an extra piece of fish I think that they should have realize that their fish is small and they should have either added another piece of fish or advise me in advance that the pieces were small. In addition, the amount of fries that they normally give was much less than usual. I called back and spoke with the lady and told her my concerns with my dinner, and she told me that I should have opened up my box at the window and let her know that the pieces were small, and that the fries were few at that time, and she would’ve given me more. I don’t usually do that but I see in coming to this establishment you must check your food before you leave their window. My dinner came to $26.15

My family & I have been here twice in 2 weeks! I had the fried flounder & it was fried Perfect. I love my fish fried extra crispy & SEASONED and they exceeded! My son had the fried pork chop, he said there was more bone than meat; but the flavor was great. The next time we each had Wings. My son had the Sweet Chili which were bursting with flavor. I ate one & loved it. My wife had the Honey Mustard. They were good too (I’m not a mustard fan). I had the lemon pepper! They were fried extra crispy & loaded with flavor. I can’t lie, I’m glad I found this joint. This is a nice local hidden gem!! Sorry I didn’t have pics of the food, but trust me; it was AMAZING!

Tried this spot for the 1st time. I called in my order Tuesday around 11:30 am and the young man that answered the phone was very polite. I ordered 6 piece wings lemon pepper with medium sauce meal. Also, a 6 piece lemon pepper wet meal.

Customer service was nice and friendly. I got a 3 piece fried chicken and a pork chop sandwich. The chicken was well seasoned and came out fresh and crispy. I appreciate that everything is cooked to order. The pork chop had great flavor and was really big. I would get it again but I would ask to have it fried harder.

First off I love this place!! Today was my first time going!! I took my sister and her husband with me and when I say everything from the ordering process to receiving our food was great!! Thank y’all so much for a great experience!! By the way I ordered 2 piece filet catfish with 6 Wings and it was pipping HOT!! Just how I like my food definitely MADE TO ORDER!! My sister ordered 2 piece whole catfish and she loved it!! This black owned business is THE blue print for all business!!
