A lovely, family run establishment! The food is amazing, fresh and the portions leave you full. It’s great for dinner or a lunch date with coworkers downtown. The family is super nice, and the service is always prompt. The owner is very community conscious and loves to host events. I’m going for an African Film Festival later tonight actually and I’m very excited.

Stopped here for dinner on a road trip with my son. Was fairly late and it’s possible that they stayed open a bit after close to accommodate us, but they never mentioned it at all. We talked with the family that owned the place and they were just the nicest, sweetest people you’ll ever meet! Food was fantastic as well. If I’m ever back in the area I’m definitely going back.

What a gem of a restaurant with lovely ambiance and delicious food. Small but very charmingwith superb hospitality. I was told by friends how good the food tastes and decided to check it out for myself. The food was everything I’d heard about from friends. It was flavored perfectly, cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. The owner Isabella and her brother made me feel very welcome and I’m already looking forward to returning to tryout other food on their menu.

I was not quite sure what to expect as I am not familiar with African food. But a friend of mine brought me a bowl of their peanut butter chicken stew. I just knew I wouldn’t like it. BUT boy was I surprised and excited to have something new and yummy to eat. Their meat pies are tasty. The fried plantains are super yummy. The Ox tail (which is what I will order next) was meaty not like the one that will make you wish you had ordered something else. But even better than the food is the excellent customer service. Everyone is so nice and inviting. It was a great experience.

The food here is on point, being both delicious and authentic. The service staff is very friendly and helpful with the the menu, able to explain the dishes you are interested in. Although some dishes come with a 30 minute wait, they are well worth it, in which case it’s best to simply call ahead and order. Overall I would highly recommend eating here.

Love the vegetarian dish. Everything is freshly made and the seasoning of the food is amazing. I love the tamarind drink and could drink a tons of it. The plates are huge, so if you eat left overs the price is absolute worth it!

I looove this place! Absolutely the BEST restaurant in the entire state! The cuisine is AWESOME! And so is the atmosphere. Wonderful and very personable owners and staff. And the best part? The prices are on point and the food portions are huge! Try it just ONCE. You’ll be hooked. Just off 1-95 and downtown. So easy access.

Before you even get in the door there is a heavenly aroma which intensifies once you open the door. The owner, Isabella, and her family are originally from Ghana and are very welcoming. Although I have not been to Ghana I believe this food to be authentic. The meats are stewed so it falls off the bone. I highly recommend the Peanut Butter Soup and the Bean Pie; you won’t be disappointed.

Excellent staff, excellent service! They know my mother by name (she lives in the area), and remember my face each time I come! Friendly and the food is just AMAZING. Oxtails and Waakye rice are my favorite entree. Can’t forget the bean pie for dessert! By far the best bean pie I’ve ever eaten. Best restaurant in Fayetteville, hands down!
