Absolutely the best place for BBQ!!! Vermont doesn’t do BBQ well at all, BUT this place gets it right!! I’ve traveled a lot down South and this is as good as anything I’ve had from TN or SC etc. Friendly, laid back, picnic tables……one man operation…..well worth the wait if there is a line.

Fantastic!! Flavorful BBQ, delicious sides and an affordable price to boot. You can also purchase meat by the pound which would make for a great takeaway dinner. The house made BBQ sauce is excellent and the owner is so welcoming and friendly. Wherever you are – it’s worth the drive out!

So good, my dog wouldn’t leave us alone. Check out the photo of her. Ribs are amazing. Highly recommend. Owner, also the cook, was very nice and you can tell he puts his heart into the food he cooks. Clean bathroom is a plus.

Four of us shared the Alamo. We all agreed it was the best BBQ/smoked ribs,pulled pork, brisket we ever had. The only disappointing thing is the place is only opened 2 days a week. I’m in the area on vacation. If I was a local person I would be here regularly. Do yourself a favor and give this food a try you will not be disappointed!

Great food and staff! We got a little bit of everything for a Father’s Day surprise and everything was wonderful and the portions generous. All of the meats were seasoned and cooked to perfection. The ribs and brisket were so tender and juicy, and both the chicken & pulled pork were also excellent and very tasty. The coleslaw so nice and creamy, tasty beans and the mac and & cheese is almost addictive with a rich creamy cheese sauce riddled with bits of nice smoky bacon. To round things off, the mini pecan pies have a smoky sweetness that is just divine. Fair warning though, if you are planning to take this yummy food home, the aroma that fills your vehicle may make it difficult to arrive at your destination without sneaking a bite or two. Highly recommend.

I’ve had my fair share of southern BBQ and this is quite possibly the best I’ve ever had. The meat fell right off the ribs, which was incredibly tender and juicy.
