The Best BBQ around! Philip and Amanda are awesome to work with. I ordered catering for a work luncheon to feed 30 people, and everybody was extremely happy with the food. The brisket, BBQ rice, Mac/Cheese, hand made sausage, and pulled pork were all amazing. The day I ordered the catering (1 week prior to luncheon) I ordered the big BBQ burrito and it was great, too. highly recommended. I can’t wait to go for lunch again. Keep up the great work feeding your community with great food and service Philip, Amanda, and team!

This is one of those places you have to make time for. Go out of your way to try it out, wherever you may be. The Brisket Sandwich was simply awe-inspiring. The Pulled Pork equally as good. You can taste the love and dedication to their craft in every bite, fleeting and short lived as they may be, savor every moment of it.

Keep seeing this place passing through on Byron Hwy. Finally stopped in today and the food was phenomenal. Ordered 1/2 pound brisket, pulled pork and a sausage. Ordered a side of potatoe salad and beans. Brisket was perfect, potato salad was pretty good too. Pulled pork was tasty but hubby and I both wanted some sauce to go with it. Maybe they have some and we didnt see? Highly recommend if driving by! Sorry for the after photo…happily ate the meat before thinking to take a pic

Drove by this place from time to time for months. Found myself in Byron earlier this week around opening time and decided to stop by. My only regret about it is I hadnt come sooner! Best Texas Style BBQ ive had in California so far! and in Byron of all places? Brisket was SO tender and juicy, and the Beef Sausage was fantastic! Had a great snap, good amount of kick and was super juicy! The owners seemed very sweet and genuine and provided excellent service and even better food, I know it maybe be a little out of the way, but as someone who previously traveled to Oakland for BBQ, this trip to Byron is well worth it instead. Will be returning asap!

Hidden gem right in our backyard! The BBQ burrito was loaded with mac n cheese, brisket, beef sausage and baked beans. The kiddo managed to eat half and definitely needed a nap afterwards. I had the jalapeno cheddar grits topped with brisket. They were creamy with the right amount of kick from the jalapenos.

Updated 7/2023 – stopped by 8 months after my first visit. Brisket is not consistent. The texture on the flat bottom slices were sorta mushy like it was overdone. Would disintegrate – bad mouthfeel. Reminded me of a forgotten pot roast, I suppose. The point was fine, thankfully. Grits were awesome, thoroughly enjoyed that.

I pass this place everyday ,today went there the two youngs ladies work there was very rude ,not only to my family but to all the customers the other customers were very upset. When the customer before us asked them how many bones is in a slab of ribs ,the young lady said 6 bones . First off all the food cost a lot if there’s 12 bones in a slab why this girl give me 5 bones and had the nerve to get a nasty attitude when I said something to her why she give 5 bones . Trash attitude my ribs were hard like leather.I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN
