A full five star to this elegant restaurant. If you are around Merced and want to try out Indian food this place should be your first choice. I’d appreciate the cleanliness of the place and the location makes the ambience even more enjoyable. Food is great and the preparation is even good for the small kids. We appreciate the quantity and I’m sure the lunch buffet would be totally worth it. Special thanks to Albert and Lyra for keeping the interactions super-friendly.

One of the best and authentic India food in Central valley, California …. The food is cooked by Indian Chefs directly under vigilance of the Owners . It seems they been running this place ( around current location) from last 25 years .. I had a chance to speak with one of the owners . Really impressed by the care they take for getting the authentic flavours of North India ( Punjabi Cousine)

Doesn’t even deserve one star. Stale and raw food , I ordered the chicken tikka and was not cooked at all, the paneer was very stale and tasted like chewing gum. I had to wait one hour for the food even though the restaurant was empty. Rice was so stale that it had no taste and was so hard like a stone. I eat rice every day at home so I know that RICE doesn’t taste like that. Save your money and time and don’t go there,

Had dinner here once. It was so good I looked forward to coming back for the buffet. I was quite disappointed with buffet. Buffet lacked variety as there were 2 vegetable dishes and one was just potatoes. Chicken dishes were not very spicy either. Obviously it was last night’s leftover chicken in tikka sauce. Overall things tasted watered down compared to other Indian restaurants I’ve tried. Naan was think and didn’t taste like it was cooked in a Tandoor oven.

I came to dine in and wow was I surprised. It smelled amazing, and everything about it was very nice and clean. Me and my family tried Masala Express, which did not work out, but this was amazing. I got the chicken tikka masala and naan and I was very pleased with my order! Also my little one absolutely loves the mango lassi!!
