We only got the samosas here (1 per order), but they are HEFTY. At around $3 each, I feel like these are a great deal, especially considering the tiny samosas I’ve seen elsewhere from other Indian restaurants. These are packed with a scrumptious, savory potato and pea mixture that was piping hot. With generous tips in the accompanying tamarind sauce, this was a wonderful appetizer to grab in the Dining District at the mall.

I was in the mood for some GOOD Indian food when one of the staff called me over to try their chicken tikka masala. It wasn’t bad but my eyes went to the chicken biriyani. I asked for a sample and he gave it to me. It was so delicious that I had to order that. I also found a huge samosa near the counter. I’m telling you, I literally stopped eating more than half way through to write this review; IT IS THAT GOOD! From all of their sauces to the taste of food was just an amazing experience and I’m so glad I tried it. Will definitely come back for more and stop having chinese or teriyaki that I usually have at the mall.

So this indian place food’s taste is not bad but i want to say that the price is definitely on the expensive side. The combo starting from 15 before the tax and there is only 2 small portion on the side. If you can make it cheaper such as the price starting from 10 dollars, i believe you will have more customers. Many times when i ordered food there right before the store close, there are still plenty of food left. There are many other food chains around this place. If you can not beat the price, I think you might have hard time to get more business.

I don’t eat a lot of Indian food, but I went up to the counter and explained I was vegetarian and the cook showed me a bunch of options including a dish with curry spinach and mozzarella which tasted like chicken breast it was great.

So I’m a returning customer and come here every visit to the mall. And this time the taste felt off. It seems like they didn’t come down the “kadhe masale” enough and has a very over powerful clove taste. Maybe they switched chefs. All and all this restaurant gets 5 stars still because all the other prior visits have hit the spot. I think with a little tweak they will get back to the taste we all love.

Came to Roosevelt field mall on Thursday afternoon. I was hungry and decided on some Indian food. I got rice with lamb and potatoes. The food was decent, but way overpriced. A dish with rice, lamb, and potatoes and a can of soda was $22.50. I could have just gotten a meal at Wendy’s for $10. These food places in the mall are unreal with their prices. I remember about 15-20 years ago, you could get a nice meal in the mall for around $8.

The Bengali sales lady with black glasses is very rude! She should learn how to talk with customers and not be a racist. This is the 3rd time I have seen her and the manager being rude to my African colleague! And I had to write about this. She and the manager act like they own the mall and behave so rude. I have never seen a restaurant being rude to black Africans. Definitely post about this matter to the Facebook because the Owner doesn’t care about how his staffs are treating customers.
