Excellent food! We ate here on a Saturday afternoon. The service was excellent and to the food delicious. My wife had a couple of sushi dishes which she like very much. I had the massaman curry with beef, nice and spicy. We also took some take home Chinese dishes which were also tasty. We would recommend them for a great variety of delicious Asian food.

Stopped in during lunch while in Roanoke. Great selection of food. Tasty meal overall. The fried rice was a little too salty for my taste, but everything else was yummy. Great service from staff. Would definitely eat here again.

Went at 2pm, just as lunch menu changed to dinner, so was a little disappointed. Service was excellent and server gave her all, but rested her head on the bar when not engaged with us. Not many diners in at that time, so not at all busy. The menus were a little hard for me to read, as the different food styles had a different color background. The restaurant serves Thai, Japanese and Chinese styles, and has an extensive sushi selection. My dining mates both had the drunken noodles, one with tofu and one with chicken, and both declared their dishes flavorful and delicious, especially the noodles. I ordered the Cashew Nut with chicken. As the dish is named cashew, you’d think the nut would be plentiful..but I could only find about 5 pieces, with just a couple whole. The chicken was overcooked and somewhat tough, and the vegetables were not cooked enough to my liking. The atmosphere was pleasant, and welcoming.

I’ve never had a bad experience with/at Taste of Asia – I actually wish I could eat here more often to more fully explore their very extensive menu, which is broken down into three sections: Thai, Japanese, and Chinese. So far my experiences here have stemmed mainly from the Thai menu, with an occasional starter or add-on from the Japanese section. Tonight (01-14-21) was no different, as we started with the edamame, and then my date moved onto a small dish Thai tofu vegetable soup, and a vegetable roll from the sushi menu. I went with the N10, a Thai beef & noodle soup akin to Pho, but with a beef broth instead of a bone broth – it’s a formidable bowl of soup. I look forward to many more visits to Taste of Asia.

This restaurant is amazing! The hostess which turned out to be the owner was exciting to speak with. My experience here left me blown away. The food was very flavorful and left me sitting there in silence while I savored every bite. I had the shrimp pad Thai, calamari, and what ended up being the most amazing part of this meal was the Evelyn Roll. Every slice left me speechless and wanting more. If you are in the Ronoake VA area be sure to stop in.

Taste of Asia is great for a quiet dinner on a Tuesday evening or a group of friends wanting good food and good drinks. The ambiance and staff are wonderful and welcoming. The menu is extensive with delicious options ranging from Thai to Chinese to Japanese. I have had the pleasure of enjoying spicy Thai noodle soups to Chinese standards to exquisitely prepared sushi (check out the “caterpillar” unagi roll). This is a great neighborhood restaurant with many options to satisfy almost every palate.

Good restaurant with delicious dishes. Pleasantly varied menu, more than usually expected, and every national selection is good. Great service. Much better food than some more popular Roanoke area Asian restaurants.

I had the Thai dumplings and the pork panang curry with white rice, and they were both absolutely delicious. I left very full and satisfied.

First time me and my husband are here. And it was amazing! I got the california roll and cucumber avacados roll, and some chicken noodles(almost like a teriyaki sauce but sweeter). My husband got the spicy tuna and spicy salmon roll. We will definitely come back and explore the menu more. Waitress was amazing!!
